NPR Issues Glowing Homage To Slain ISIS Leader al-Baghdadi

(Tea Party 247) – The way the left has been responding to the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is more like satire than the real-life commentary of today’s leftists.

And that’s saying something in this day and age.

You would certainly expect the TDS-deranged left to be bitter and cynical at the death of the vicious, murderous ISIS leader, downplaying the role Trump played or warning ISIS will rise again, but no.

They’ve gone full al-Baghdadi crazy. 

These people are so crazily against Trump, they are actually trying to convince themselves that this guy was somehow admirable.

In the wake of the news of the extraordinary military victory over ISIS, NPR gushed over the slain leader, describing him as a “real leader” who spearheaded a “movement we’ve never seen before.”

During a roundtable discussion about al-Baghdadi’s death, NPR reporter Greg Myre stopped just short of actually praising a man who personally beheaded three Americans and enslaved, raped, and ultimately killed an American woman. 

“He led a movement that we’ve never seen before,” Myre said. “ISIS had tens of thousands of members, fighters, coming in from all over the world.”
“They controlled massive amounts of territory — in Eastern Syria and Western and Northern Iraq,” Myre said, adding ISIS had “millions of people under their control.”
“They administered cities, they collected taxes,” Myre said.

“They had this incredible online recruit presence in terms of spreading propaganda; recruiting followers,” he continued. “This is a guy that sort of emerged on the scene.” 

“And led this group that had done something we’d never seen before,” Myre gushed.

He went on to claim that al-Baghdadi was a “real leader” and that it would be difficult for ISIS to find a replacement. 

Yeah, this is kind of why we killed him. 

Of course, the Washington Post drew widespread disdain after publishing an obituary of al-Baghdadi as an “austere religious scholar” who simply “died.”

Really? 

This is insane. This guy was an absolute monster.
