Teacher Makes Student Clean Up After Himself, Goes To Jail

nfbb
A story out of Florida demonstrates how we’ve become a society that no longer values personal accountability. A Coral Springs teacher made one of her students clean up a mild case of vandalism and found herself arrested and charged with a major crime.
Jennifer Forshey, a teacher at a Broward County Charter School, found out that one of her 10-year old students had stuffed paper towels in the urinal, clogging it. She made the boy return to the bathroom and clean out the paper towels. For this, she was charged with battery of a child and arrested. She’d have gotten the same thing if she had punched the kid square in the face.
In the police report it says that Forshey had the boy use a clean paper towel to protect his hands as he removed the wet ones from the urinal. It indicated that the wet paper towels soaked through the dry one and made his hands smell like urine.       MORE OF STORY
