A man accused of fatally shooting a store manager in Detroit was tracked down by police within hours because he was wearing an ankle monitor – even though he was no longer legally mandated to.
On Tuesday, 29-year-old Sajad Al Jabur, a manager of a local cell phone store, was looking to buy some used cell phones. Instead, he was set up.
“They walked up with a fake box pretending that there was a cellphone in there and it was a gun,” his brother, Saif, told WJBK. “My brother tried to leave, he tried to run away, they just shot him a couple of times in the head.”
