Speaking at two town halls in New Hampshire, Christie told supporters that the race for president “changed eight days ago” following the coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris that left 130 dead and injured hundreds of others.
He told the audience at one of the rallies:
“I have to tell you the truth, after this week it’s almost funny to be lectured by the President of the United States. I was lectured by the President this week from far away…The New Jersey Governor also touched on Obama’s critique of the 31 governors who refused to admit Syrian refugees, claiming that they were “scared of widows and three-year-old orphans.”
Once again, this president misunderstands. But the great thing about this president is … when we look back on the Barack Obama presidency, there are lots of things we can think.
But I will tell you the one thing that I will always remember, the one phrase that symbolizes his failed leadership in this country: ‘Often wrong, never in doubt’.”
