As President Donald Trump's plan to build a wall on the southwest border of the U.S. seems to have been moved to the back burner, Mexico is still very tough on its stance about not paying for it.
Now the country is thinking of taking other measures to ensure that they will not succumb under Trump's presidency.
According to Fox News, Mexican Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray called Trump's border wall plan an "unfriendly, hostile" act and called on his colleagues to consider Mexico charging an entry fee to Americans.
Videgaray said, "We could explore — not necessarily a visa, that could impede a lot of people from coming to Mexico — but we could perhaps (have) a fee associated with entry."
Trump said Monday he is willing to revisit funding for the wall in September, but he still insists Mexico will pay for it.
