Loudoun County conditionally approves activist's application to hold Confederate-Nazi flag burning

Loudoun County staff has conditionally approved an application to allow a Pennsylvania activist to burn a combined Confederate-Nazi flag on the grounds of the county courthouse in downtown Leesburg.

The event is slated for noon on June 12.

“The application was reviewed by the county administrator and county attorney. Mr. Stilp’s application is approved, with conditions,” county spokesman Glen Barbour said in an email with Town of Leesburg officials
