Our goal is to get Trump out.”

That’s apparently a top priority for the Black Lives Matter movement according to co-founder Patrisse Cullors.

While speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Cullors also said President Donald Trump should resign from office immediately.

“I’ve heard a lot of criticism of former Vice President Joe Biden from civil rights activists. The election, obviously, will be a choice. How do you think Biden matches up compared to President Trump when it comes to these issues that are important to you?” Tapper asked.

“Trump not only needs to not be in office in November but he should resign now. Trump needs to be out of office,” Cullors said.

“He is not fit for office. And so what we are going to push for is a move to get Trump out. While we’re also going to continue to push and pressure vice president Joe Biden around his policies and relationship to policing and criminalization. That’s going to be important. But our goal is to get Trump out,” she added.

Last week, a leaked document from 2015 revealed that Democrats did not support Black Lives Matter and referred to them as a radial organization.

The memo from the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) official, at the time, Troy Perry, who was the DCCC’s Director of Diversity and Public Engagement, laid out the concerns.

The memo was dated Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, and said that the Democrats’ 2016 presidential candidates “have struggled to respond to tactics of the Black Lives Matter movement.”

“While there has been little engagement with House candidates, candidates and campaign staff should be prepared,” he said.

Perry and the Democrats definitely did not want the media or the Republicans to get a hold of this memo and warned as such.

“This document should not be emailed or handed to anyone outside of the building,” he said. “Please only give campaign staff these best practices in meetings or over the phone.”

But the memo was found by the hacker Guccifer 2.0 in 2016 right after Democrat candidate and former senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had secured the nomination.

It said Black Lives Matter was a “Radical movement to end ‘anti-black racism,’” as it highlighted some of the key concerns.

“Though police abuses are a central component, the founders view the movement more broadly,” the memo said.

“Criminal Justice System reform: sentencing reform, ending prison industrial complex, police reform: referring to hiring, training, and unfair policing tactics. An end to police brutality, the killings of unarmed African Americans (the impetus of the movement being the acquittal of George Zimmerman),” it said.

“If approached by BLM activists, campaign staff should offer to meet with local activists. Invited BLM attendees should be limited. Please aim for personal or small group meetings,” it said.

The memo noted that “BLM activists don’t want their movement co-opted by the Democrat Party” and “They are (leery) of politicians who hijack their message to win campaigns.”

It warned candidates: “Do not say ‘all lives matter’ nor mention ‘black on black crime’” because “these are all viewed as red herring attacks. This response will garner additional media scrutiny and only anger BLM activists” and said, “this is the worst response.
