Democrat Gabby Giffords Gives Illinois an A in Gun Safety Laws, so why is Chicago so Deadly? Historic Gun Violence in ‘Windy City’ in Sept. by Kari Donovan in Second Amendment
Chicago in September was a death zone for residents with the tragic death of a child on her bike, a woman shopping at a local convience store, and young people attending a party, yet Democrats say that the State is leading the country for gun control laws, as they place the blame for people’s deaath on “outsiders”.
Oddly, according to far-left radical Gabby Giffords,’ the wife of Arizona Senate candidate, Democrat-dominated Illinois get an “A-” for gun safety laws, saying, “despite earning an A- for its gun laws, Illinois has a higher gun death rate than many states with similar laws because of guns trafficked in from nearby states. Nearly half the guns used in crimes in Illinois—and nearly 60% of the guns used in crimes in Chicago—are trafficked from states with weaker gun laws. The majority of these guns come from neighboring Indiana, which received a D- on the Scorecard for lacking many of the important gun safety protections Illinois has passed. Southern states with F grades, like Missouri, Kentucky, and Mississippi, also traffic hundreds of crime guns into Illinois each year.”
Oh, well that is logical, it is because of “other people” who are not from Illinois. That was pretty easy, so the State is still on the “good list” for Giffords and Kelly.
But it doesn’t help save any lives. September is now historicially deadly in Chicago.
Accroding to local news, WTTW:
“Last month, Chicago recorded its deadliest September in more than 25 years as the city approaches 600 homicides in 2020 with a quarter of the year still left to go.
