President Donald Trump stirred up political intrigue with his criticism of Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week, and now a new report says he has floated replacing Sessions with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Trump has been unhappy with Sessions' recusal from the Russia investigation and has raised the possibility of bringing in Giuliani in internal conversations, Axios reports. A West Wing source told Axios that Trump is furious at Sessions, which could be seen in Trump's tweet calling Sessions a "beleaguered A.G." on Twitter Monday.

Giuliani was a strong supporter of Trump during the 2016 campaign, and he was considered a candidate for the job that Sessions landed. Giuliani did not end up getting a position within the administration, but he has continued to defend Trump in the media.

Axios' Mike Allen wrote that Trump "often muses about personnel moves he never makes," pointing out that his report does not prove Trump will do anything. To begin with, the president would have a difficult time getting Giuliani confirmed in the Senate.

CIA Official Reveals Startling Truth About Russian Collusion



The so-called “mainstream” media has spent months painting a picture of the Trump campaign and Russian operatives working hand in glove to rig the 2016 election.
They’ve painted a picture of an espionage operation out of a spy thriller like The Americans.
But one former CIA official revealed the most shocking accusation of collusion in the 2016 election.
Edward Price worked for the CIA and also served on Barack Obama’s National Security Council.
So it’s not surprising that he leveled allegations of collusion with the Russians.
But it was who he said worked with the Russians that stopped everyone cold in their tracks.
Price claimed it was the media that really colluded with the Kremlin.

“Edward Price, a former CIA employee who served as a top spokesman and a senior director for President Obama’s National Security Council, accused the media of colluding with Russian intelligence officials during the 2016 presidential election while taking part in a panel discussion at the Aspen Security Forum on Thursday.
The panel discussion titled “The Kremlin Plan to Beat the West without Firing a Shot,” dealt with Russian’s involvement in the 2016 election and was moderated by CNN’s Jim Sciutto.
During the discussion, Price took exception with how the media covered Russia’s involvement in the election citing October 7, 2016, as the most vivid example of the media’s poor coverage of Russia’s role.
On October 7, Price noted when the United States government formally attributed the meddling in the election to the most senior levels of the Russian government, the Donald Trump “Access Hollywood” tape was released, and John Podesta’s emails started getting released.

“From October 7th to November 8th, there was a media frenzy on John Podesta’s emails focused on the substance and the content but not the origins,” Price remarked.”
Price explained the media aided Russia by not covering the October 7th announcement by the Obama administration that Russia was behind the cyber attacks on the Democrat National Committee and Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta.
NTK Networks also reports:
“It wasn’t just the statement… and this term is a loaded but the collusion on the part of certain elements in the media and Guccifer 2.0, the Russian cyber persona, who would send scoops to individual reporters and say, ‘hey you should take a look at this,’” Price responded. “And then lo and behold, major media outlets would write on the scoops provided by this Russian intelligence officer.”
CNN’s Sciutto took objection to Price’s accusation that the media colluded with Russia and asked Price to explain what he meant.
Price stood by his claim telling Sciutto to call it, “cooperation, collusion, whatever you want.”
Sciutto pointed out that collusion implies willing corporation.
“At a certain point, you had to have blinders and earmuffs on not to know that Guccifer 2.0 was a Russian intelligence official,” Price responded.”
It should be noted that everything Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks published was accurate.
Their email dumps showed collusion between the media and Democrats during the 2016 campaign.
Compliant reporters were fed questions to ask Republicans, and primary debate questions were leaked to Hillary Clinton.
Claiming the media colluded with the Russians because accurate news was reported is one of the most bizarre conspiracy theories floated about the 2016 election.

Think Trump’s Unpopular? Think Again
Donald Trump’s personal approval might be languishing at 40.5%—but his policies are astonishingly popular among voters.

Rather than simply survey Trump’s approval rating, the latest poll from the Committee to Defend the President asked 2,967 likely voters various questions about Trump’s agenda.

When asked whether or not voters supported Trump’s primary accomplishments as President—like appointing Neil Gorsuch as a Supreme Court Justice, supporting women in science, and his “Hire American” and “Buy American” initiatives to promote manufacturing—a whopping 56% said that they approved, while just 24% disapproved. These policies received wide support, regardless of gender and age.

When it comes to President Trump’s budget spending plans, like increasing funding for national defense and law enforcement, 53% approved and 32% did not approve.

The poll also rehashed the 2016 election—asking voters whether they would feel safer with President Trump in office or with Hillary Clinton in office. 46% felt safer with Trump, and just 38% felt safer with Hillary Clinton. Likewise, 44% of voters believe that President Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan have a better vision for the country, compared to just 37% who believe that Clinton and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi do.

Democrats have long planned to fight the 2018 and 2020 elections solely on the basis of Trump’s relative unpopularity. But after losing four special elections in a row, it’s clear that winning back the votes of the American people will require the Democrats to develop an actual vision for the country, rather than just ride a wave of anti-Trump sentiment.

But even that could bring its own difficulties: regardless of voters’ personal feelings towards Trump, they overwhelmingly back his biggest policy objectives.

Trey Gowdy Gave Deep State Leakers This Bad News



The Deep State has schemed to take down Donald Trump.
For months they have planted leaks in press stories designed to create an air of scandal that will hamstring the administration.
But the Deep State just got bad news as Congress is zeroing in on their leader.
Ben Rhodes was the Deputy National Security Advisor in the Obama administration.
He was a figure of great controversy.
In order to sell the Iran deal, he created a press “echo chamber” where he could plant false stories about the negotiations and sell the American people on Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal.
Conservatives have pointed to Rhodes and his echo chamber as the culprits behind the illegal leaks of classified information plaguing the Trump administration.
There has been on average one leak a day since Trump has taken office.
All of this has added up to a plot against Trump designed to ruin his Presidency by forcing him to resign or creating a toxic environment that guarantees he lose the re-election in 2020.
But one Congressman revealed that Trey Gowdy is digging into the Deep State’s plot and that it is bad news for Rhodes and other big names from the Obama administration.

“Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., wouldn’t say Saturday whether the House Oversight Committee is going to call former Obama deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes to testify about potentially playing a role in the leaks from the Trump administration of classified information to reporters.
During an interview with MSNBC’s Hugh Hewitt, DeSantis admitted he’s spoken to his committee’s chairman, Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, about it, and while he would defer to Gowdy to identify people of interest, he did say the panel has brought in some “big names.”
“They’re doing a lot more than what the press knows in terms of some of the people they have brought in,” DeSantis said. “They’ve brought in some big names that I’m not authorized to say…
…. Hewitt had asked DeSantis about Rhodes in particular because of an interview he did recently with the Washington Free Beacon in which he accused Rhodes of being a primary source of the leaks causing harm to the Trump administration and called on Trump to remove all Obama official holdovers from his administration.
DeSantis further explained to Hewitt that Rhodes may be in contact with Obama holdovers in the National Security Council, who are behind the “selective leaking” hurting Trump’s ability to conduct foreign policy.”
Reining in the Deep State has become a critical endeavor.
These leakers are not whistle blowers trying to expose wrong doing.
It is a deliberate attempt to overturn the results of the election.
Conservatives believe these leakers must be rooted out and held accountable.
And that means the administration and Congressional Republicans must go beyond “naming and shaming” the Deep State leakers.
They need to prosecute the individuals who illegally leaked classified information.

While scanning YouTube videos, I came across an appearance by Ronald Reagan on "The Tonight Show," hosted by Johnny Carson. The year was 1975 and Reagan was "between jobs," having left office as governor of California, where he served for eight years, but not yet president. He would challenge Gerald Ford for the Republican nomination in 1976, barely losing at the nominating convention, but setting himself up for what would be a successful run in 1980.
What fascinates about Reagan's appearance with Carson is how little has changed in the intervening 42 years, except some things are worse.
The questions Carson asked Reagan and his responses sound like recent campaigns.
Here's one of Reagan's comments on taxes: "I still say the answers to our problems in this country ... is to have a law that says there is a percentage limit of the people's earnings that government cannot go beyond without the consent of the people."
Later he noted that when he and Carson were boys, "governments, whether federal, state, or local, were only taking about 15 cents out of every dollar earned. Today they're taking almost half..."
It's gotten worse. Depending on where you live, the combined total of government taxes can exceed 50 percent, including income, sales and hidden taxes. According to the Tax Foundation, the nation's leading independent tax policy nonprofit, Americans this year will pay $3.5 trillion in federal taxes and $1.6 trillion in state and local taxes, for a total of $5.1 trillion, or 31 percent of the nation's income. Still, governments never have enough of our money. The feds borrow from other governments and the national debt approaches $20 trillion.
In one of his many clever turns of phrases, Reagan told Carson: "We live in a country where it takes more brains to figure out your income tax than it does to earn the income."
Then came a line he would use to great benefit when he ran for president in 1980: "...people keep looking to government for the answer and government is the problem. ... There's very little government can do as efficiently and economically as the people can do themselves..."
Reagan added, "The biggest problem is that we have built a permanent structure of government -- federal, state and local -- they're permanent employees. And they've come to the place where they actually determine policy in this country more than does the Congress..."
At the time, Reagan said there were 14.5 million public employees in the U.S. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 2015, there were nearly 22 million government workers. Can anyone claim governments are more efficient and cost-effective because there are more government workers?
Reagan bemoaned the deficit, which then was about $53 billion. Last Friday, the White House said faltering tax revenues will cause the budget deficit to rise to $702 billion this year, $99 billion higher than was predicted in late May.
When Carson asked for his solution, Reagan cracked, "I think balancing the budget is like protecting your virtue. You have to learn to say 'no.'"
Politicians can't say no to themselves or to petitioners for our tax dollars. They buy loyalty and votes to protect their careers. As Reagan noted and would mention again, people become addicted to government handouts and once addicted embrace the notion of entitlement, losing the virtue of personal responsibility and coming to see government as a first resource, not a last resort.
As the 1975 Reagan interview demonstrates, the problems haven't changed because the solutions have not been embraced. Contemporary Republicans should learn lessons from Reagan, but many of them appear too eager to tread water while we sink deeper and deeper into debt and slowly lose our freedoms.

Cruz Rescues Republicans on Obamacare

Republicans are finally getting smart on Obamacare. It took one of the savviest Republican senators -- Ted Cruz of Texas, with an assist from Mike Lee of Utah -- to get the GOP to figure out how to replace Obamacare, reduce premiums and save money for the government, all without alienating millions of voters. He's pulled the Republicans' fannies out of the fire, flipping a losing strategy into a big-time winner.
The Cruz amendment -- which has been inserted into the GOP Senate health plan -- is smart, because it doesn't take anything away from anyone. If you want Obamacare, you can have it. You can have the coverage for the 10 "essential benefits"; you can have the subsidies and exchanges that were supposed to save $2,500 per family. It's still there for you.
The Cruz amendment introduces what is called the "Consumer Freedom Option." The Consumer Freedom Option allows insurers who offer Obamacare-compliant plans to offer a range of less costly plans. In other words, it empowers people and families to pick and choose what they want in their own insurance packages. Some families want, and can afford, blanket coverage that insures them for everything from cancer to contraceptives. If you want to pay for that coverage, go for it.
What about people with lower incomes or healthy lifestyles that want the other extreme? They can opt for slimmed-down coverage that protects them from major medical expenses, such as costly ongoing treatments for a serious disease. These families may choose to pay for more routine medical expenses, such as checkups, out of pocket. One benefit is that since more people will pay directly for medical services, they are likely to shop around for the best prices, and this competition will lower prices for everyone.

For a year, the big question of Russiagate has boiled down to this: Did Donald Trump's campaign collude with the Russians in hacking the DNC?
And until last week, the answer was "no."
As ex-CIA director Mike Morell said in March, "On the question of the Trump campaign conspiring with the Russians ... there is smoke, but there is no fire, at all. ... There's no little campfire, there's no little candle, there's no spark."
Well, last week, it appeared there had been a fire in Trump Tower. On June 9, 2016, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort met with Russians -- in anticipation of promised dirt on Hillary Clinton's campaign.
While not a crime, this was a blunder. For Donald Jr. had long insisted there had been no collusion with the Russians. Caught in flagrante, he went full Pinocchio for four days.
And as the details of that June 9 meeting spilled out, Trump defenders were left with egg on their faces, while anti-Trump media were able to keep the spotlight laser-focused on where they want it -- Russiagate.

NRA's Colion Noir Has One Heck of a Message for Black Lives Matter

Dana Loesch had liberals curling up in the fetal position when she urged her fellow conservatives to "fight this violence of lies [referring to media bias and the Left’s prime choice of protest] with the clenched fist of truth” in an ad for the NRA. *Gasp.*
Ironically, Loesch, who was condemning violence and hateful, divisive rhetoric, was accused of inciting violence and declaring civil war. 

On Wednesday, members of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Black Lives Matter Movement - and their allies, including Dignity and Power Now, The Reverence Project, RISIST, and Defend Movement - decided to join in on the Loesch-bashing fun and released their own video in response to the NRA’s “aggressive, fear-mongering video tactics.”


In the video, a member from the LA Chapter is seen calling the NRA’s ads “dangerous propaganda” that emboldens “gun-toting racists.”
“We will continue to produce media, teach students, march and protest to not only protect the First Amendment as fiercely as the NRA protects the Second, but to protect our lives from gun-toting racists,” she declares.
Of course, liberals only want protect the First Amendment rights of those who share their opinions and fight for their cause. Anyone who disagrees with them or says something they don’t like should automatically be silenced, hence why the video’s narrator goes on to “demand” the NRA “immediately” remove its (constitutionally protected) ads.
Thankfully, NRA TV’s Colion Noir wasn’t about to let BLM get away with peddling these absurd claims about the Second Amendments rights organization.
In an episode of “Commentators,” Noir first calls out BLM for losing sight of its original mission and turning into “a weaponized, race-baiting machine, pushing the extreme liberal-Democratic agenda, calling everything and anything that doesn’t fit their agenda white supremacy.”
He then goes on to dispel the notion that the NRA’s members are all a bunch of racists and lists the (many, many) things the organization has done for the black community and black gun owners: “Say what you want about the NRA, but it’s done more for black gun rights and the image of black gun owners in this country than the bought and paid-for Black Lives Matter ever has.”
Noir, who himself is a gun-owner and NRA member, notes that, “you don't get asked what race you are when you join the NRA, there wasn’t a ‘whites only’ sign at the annual convention. There are no secrets here.” 
“The NRA isn’t the one telling me I shouldn't be owning guns because I’m black. White, liberal politicians are," he adds.
At the end of the video, Noir offers some friendly advice for the Black Lives Matter Movement before signing off. 
“Oh, by the way," he says, speaking directly to BLM activists, "next time you make a video declaring you fiercely defend the First Amendment the way the NRA defends the Second, you might not want to immediately demand that they delete a video protected by their First Amendment right, just because you don’t like it."
"You kind of look like a hypocrite," he concludes.

Finally, a Poll Trump Will Can Like: Clinton Even More Unpopular

For a president with historically low poll numbers, Donald Trump can at least find solace in this: Hillary Clinton is doing worse.
Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival is viewed favorably by just 39 percent of Americans in the latest Bloomberg National Poll, two points lower than the president. It’s the second-lowest score for Clinton since the poll started tracking her in September 2009.
The former secretary of state has always been a polarizing figure, but this survey shows she’s even lost popularity among those who voted for her in November.
More than a fifth of Clinton voters say they have an unfavorable view of her. By comparison, just 8 percent of likely Clinton voters felt that way in the final Bloomberg poll before the election, and just 6 percent of Trump’s voters now say they view him unfavorably.
“There’s growing discontent with Hillary Clinton even as she has largely stayed out of the spotlight,” said pollster J. Ann Selzer, who oversaw the survey. "It’s not a pox on the Democratic house because numbers for other Democrats are good."
The former first lady and New York senator has made a few speeches and occasionally tweaks Trump on Twitter, but has mostly kept out of sight since a defeat in November that shocked the political establishment and surprised markets.
In follow-up interviews with poll participants, Clinton voters denied that their negative feelings about her had anything to do with her losing the election and, therefore, helping Trump move into the White House.

This Lawsuit Could Be The Most Shocking Twist In The Trump-Russia Scandal



The Trump-Russia scandal has reached critical mass.
The investigation is about to explode.
And one lawsuit could be the key to everything.
The allegations of collusion between Trump and Russia reached a fever pitch in the media when Buzzfeed published an opposition research memo put together by ex-British MI6 agent Christopher Steele.
Steele’s document contained explosive allegations of meetings between Trump officials and Russian intelligence agents and that the Russian government possessed compromising information on Trump.
The media was whipped into a frenzy that evidence existed proving Trump was a Russian agent.
But it was fake news.
Steele’s document contained easily verifiable information and it turned out to contain multiple false allegations.
Some of the people named in the document Buzzfeed published filed a lawsuit against the outlet.
Russian technology executive Alexi Gubarev filed a libel suit after Buzzfeed published an unredacted version of the Steele memo that named him as someone involved with alleged Russian hacking efforts during the 2016 election.
Buzzfeed has subpoenaed the FBI, CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence about how those agencies distributed and treated the Steele memo.
Politico reports:
“The subpoenas seek information about the existence and scope of the federal government’s investigation into the dossier, initially compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele. The requests for documents say the information could bolster BuzzFeed’s claim that publication of the document was protected by the fair report privilege, which can immunize reports based on official government records.
A spokesman for BuzzFeed News, Matt Mittenthal, confirmed that the media outlet is seeking to use the court process to nail down details of when and to whom information on the dossier was distributed.
“As part of the discovery process, we have subpoenaed key federal agencies for evidence that the dossier was circulating at the highest levels of government, and therefore clearly in the public interest,” Mittenthal said.
BuzzFeed also subpoenaed several individuals, although the details of those requests were not immediately available.”
Buzzfeed’s subpoena could reveal just how important the Steele memo was in the FBI’s decision to launch an investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The FBI has been stonewalling Congress on answering questions about the document including if they paid Steele for his work.
Buzzfeed – which kicked off the collusion hysteria – could ironically be the media outlet to put it to rest.
Their subpoena could finally shed light on how the intelligence community used fake news to launch a witch hunt into President Trump.

I wonder what kind of world my grandchildren will live in ?

What Obama Said About America Will Make Your Stomach Turn



Barack Obama is still at it.
The former President continues to attach traditional American values.
And what he said about America on the Fourth of July crossed the line.
Obama was speaking in Indonesia – a country where he spent part of his childhood – and used the occasion to blast Donald Trump and nationalists.

The Guardian reports:
“The former US president said some countries had adopted “an aggressive kind of nationalism” and “increased resentment of minority groups”, in a speech in Indonesia on Saturday that could be seen as a commentary on the US as well as Indonesia.
“It’s been clear for a while that the world is at a crossroads. At an inflection point,” Obama said, telling a Jakarta crowd stories of how much the capital had improved since he lived there as a child.
But he said that increased prosperity had been accompanied by new global problems, adding that as the world confronts issues ranging from inequality to terrorism, some countries – both developed and less developed – had adopted a more aggressive and isolationist stance.
“If we don’t stand up for tolerance and moderation and respect for others, if we begin to doubt ourselves and all that we have accomplished, then much of the progress that we have made will not continue,” he said.
“What we will see is more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence.”
Critics were appalled.
It is impossible to read these remarks as anything other than an attack on Donald Trump.
Obama was using the occasion of America’s birthday to attack the current President while on foreign soil.
It was an unbelievable break with tradition.
Past Presidents don’t criticize the sitting Commander-in-Chief.
And politics stops at the water’s edge.
Politicians do not travel to other countries and rip the President.
Officials are expected to show national unity when visiting other nations.
But Obama tossed that out the window because he is – at heart – a globalist.
It did not go unnoticed that on the nation’s birthday he smeared those who believe in the concept of national identity as being bigots and racists.
For all the talk about Trump destroying norms, it’s Obama who is tearing down concepts that have sustained America political life.
The country can only have on President at a time.
Trump is who speaks for America.
But Obama is muddying these waters by presenting an alternative voice.
For all of his faults, George W. Bush recognized this.
He said he owed Obama his silence and refrained from commenting on his affairs for his two terms in office.
Obama is destroying this tradition.
His loyalty has always been with globalism. OBAMA

First of all, how is someone like Susan Rice worth between $23.5 and $43.5 million? If the media did their jobs, maybe we’d know how a UN diplomat could amass so much wealth. Funny how leftists, who hate the rich never utter a word about Susan Rice’s net worth. Not only is Susan Rice worth so much money, but she has significant investments in over a dozen Canadian oil companies. She even has a conflict of interest with her ownership stake in TransCanada, you know that Keystone XL pipeline that Obama nixed? Remember during the campaign how ‘bad’ it was to have investments out of the United States?

Rice also stands to profit big if the Keystone XL pipeline is ever approved, so keep an eye on this one.

I can’t even begin to understand the kind of mindset and delusion you must have to move next to a pig farm and within a week start demanding that they stop raising pigs solely because you have some twisted religious view about pigs. But then again, I have a little bit of common sense.
Sometimes it’s good to remind people like this that we live in America – the land of the free. That freedom gives us the ability to do things like hold pig races during weekly prayer time in protest of un-American bullies.
If we just roll over and  tip-toe around what is politically correct and what might offend someone, we will begin to lose our American way of life little by little.

Some might say the farmer went too far, but I think it was completely justified.

Rumor has it that Justice Anthony Kennedy is telling potential new law clerks that he is considering retiring from the Supreme Court next summer, setting up an epic showdown for the 2018 midterm elections.

Pundits predicting a June 2017 announcement of Justice Kennedy’s retirement were embarrassed when the last day of the Court’s annual term ended on June 26 with no announcement.

Justices can retire at any time, and an announcement could still be forthcoming. But at this point there is no reason to expect the justice—who turns 81 this month—is retiring any day now.

But rumors started circulating around Washington last week that Justice Kennedy is interviewing candidates to serve as his law clerks for the annual clerkship term starting in July 2018, and that he is giving those candidates notice that he is contemplating retiring next summer.

The 4th of July ~ Independence ~ and it's Price

        Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Their story. . .
        
        Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.
        Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
        Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army;  another had two sons captured.
        Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.
        They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
         
        What kind of men were they?

        Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists and eleven were merchants. Nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated.
        But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.
        Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.

        Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.
         Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton , Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.
         At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that  the British General Cornwallis   had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General  George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

        Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.
        John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests  and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.
        So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.
