They have been standing for decades, and while removing these monuments may be a temporary victory for the left – in the end, removing them does not erase the events of history, nor does it set the country on a path of healing.

History and it’s monuments are not only meant to benchmark an event, a person, or a time in our history, they are meant to teach and learn to remind ourselves to be better.  Separation by race was fought and won.   President Donald Trump was correct when he asked, “When does it stop?”

The National Parks Service has a message for America: We will not remove any Confederate statues from our country’s national parks — and the country’s best-known Civil War battlefield is making that crystal clear, The Conservative Tribune reports.

Less than one week after a group of white supremacists rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia, to protest the removal of a monument depicting Robert E. Lee, U.S. parks officials aren’t holding back words about their plans for monuments.

“The National Park Service is committed to safeguarding these unique and site-specific memorials in perpetuity, while simultaneously interpreting holistically and objectively the actions, motivations, and causes of the soldiers and states they commemorate,” the parks service said in a statement, according to Penn Live.

Gettysburg National Military Park spokeswoman Katie Lawhon said that in the wake of the Charlottesville rally, the park has received no requests to remove their monuments, but even if it did, those requests would not be considered.

Lawhorn explained her position in a well-written email published by WGAL in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Its clarity is simply stunning:

“Gettysburg National Military Park preserves, protects, and interprets one of the best-marked battlefields in the world. Over 1,325 monuments, markers, and plaques, commemorate and memorialize the men who fought and died during the battle of Gettysburg and continue to reflect how that battle has been remembered by different generations of Americans. Many of these memorials honor Southern states whose men served in the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia.

“These memorials, erected predominantly in the early and mid-20th century, are an important part of the cultural landscape. The National Park Service is committed to safeguarding these unique and site-specific memorials in perpetuity, while simultaneously interpreting holistically and objectively the actions, motivations, and causes of the soldiers and states they commemorate.”

Calling the memorials “an important part of the cultural landscape” summarizes the case perfectly. And the use of the words “committed … in perpetuity” makes it clear that idea isn’t going to change.

History should be remembered and serve as a lesson for future generations, not eradicated. The national parks should be applauded for taking a stand in favor of remembering American history.

A federal jury in Las Vegas refused Tuesday to convict four defendants who were retried on accusations that they threatened and assaulted federal agents by wielding assault weapons in a 2014 confrontation to stop a cattle roundup near the Nevada ranch of states' rights figure Cliven Bundy.

In a stunning setback to federal prosecutors planning to try the Bundy family patriarch and two adult sons later this year, the jury acquitted Ricky Lovelien and Steven Stewart of all 10 charges, and delivered not-guilty findings on most charges against Scott Drexler and Eric Parker.

More than 30 defendants' supporters in the courtroom broke into applause after Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro ordered Lovelien and Stewart freed immediately and set Wednesday morning hearings to decide if Parker and Drexler should remain jailed pending a government decision whether to seek a third trial.

"Random people off the streets, these jurors, they told the government again that we're not going to put up with tyranny," said a John Lamb, a Montana resident who attended almost all the five weeks of trial, which began with jury selection July 10.

Drexler's attorney, Todd Leventhal, referred to defense teams' complaints that Judge Navarro set such strict rules of evidence that defendants weren't able to tell why they traveled to the Bundy ranch.

The judge rejected testimony from five prospective defense witnesses, and Drexler and Parker were the only defendants to testify in their defense. However, the judge struck Parker's testimony for what she said was a deliberate failure to keep his testimony within her rules.

All four defense attorneys declined Aug. 15 to make closing arguments, a gesture of standing mute that Leventhal said may have had an effect on the jury.

"As much as we were shut down from bringing anything up, the jury saw through it," he said.

Now I'm not familiar with why the judge ruled this way, although I can think of several reasons to legitimately limit some testimony.  However, to refuse to allow that many defense witnesses and to strike the testimony of one of the accused because he didn't stay within her rules seems a bit much.  Kind of like she was trying to hamstring their defense from the beginning.  Who really knows, but that's an eyebrow raiser.

The difference between fascists and socialists is in the ownership of property, not in the abhorrence of hate. Both sides use violence and hate. Black Lives Matter activist Chanelle Helm released a list of “requests” to white people in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, this month.

Helm, the so-called “cofounder and core organizer of Black Lives Matter Louisville,” explained in an article published at Leoweekly.com the things she says need to “change.”

“White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty,” Helm writes in an article titled “White people, here are 10 requests from a Black Lives Matter leader.”
White people are asked, “Give up the home you own to a black or brown family,” pass on any inherited property “to a black or brown family,” or “re-budget your monthly so you can donate to black funds for land purchasing.”

White women, especially, are urged to “get a racist fired” or “get your boss fired cause they racist too,” Helms writes.
She concludes, “Commit to two things: Fighting white supremacy where and how you can (this doesn’t mean taking up knitting, unless you’re making scarves for black and brown kids in need), and funding black and brown people and their work.”

During a press conference in New York City last Tuesday, President Donald Trump condemned the neo-Nazis and white nationalist protesters in Charlottesville.
“I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups,” Trump said before calling the man who rammed a car into counter-protesters and killed a woman a “disgrace” and a horrible “murderer.”

ESPN broadcaster Robert Lee will not work Virginia's season opener because of recent violence in Charlottesville sparked by the decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

A spokeswoman for ESPN says Lee has been moved to Youngstown State's game at Pittsburgh on the ACC Network on Sept. 2. The network says the decision was made "as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name."

If there was one person who was not at all happy with Donald Trump’s speech in Phoenix, Arizona, it was Don Lemon. The CNN host said the rally was “unhinged,” “embarrassing,” and questioned the president’s fitness for office. Trump went after the media, went after Sens. Jeff Flake and John McCain, though didn’t mention them by name, and heavily insinuated that he would issue a pardon to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was convicted of violating a federal court order to end racial profiling of Hispanics. Folks, this isn’t anything we haven’t heard before, it wasn’t out of the ordinary than what we’ve seen at Trump rallies. Yes, maybe there were some areas where criticisms could be lobbed at the president, but as always—the media overreached. The only thing that happened on that network last night was solidification of support among Trump’s base. The poll showing 60 percent of people who said they would never stop approving of Donald Trump probably went up a few notches if you saw what occurred on that network last night. If you thought Trump’s speech was unhinged, just imagine listening to non-medical professionals trying to diagnose whether Trump was insane or not, and then debating the semantics and appropriate situation in which the word “insane” should be used. CNN made the case for why the media’s credibility is in the toilet, and how the liberal media still cannot get over the fact that Hillary Clinton lost the election.

WHAT ARE "WHITE NATIONALISTS"

Blacks, Hispanics and Asians, usually band together in "neighborhoods", because of their habits, cultures and language.....exactly as "white nationalists" are described as doing. Surrounding themselves with same race and "like thinking" people. 

Are you racist if you are proud to be white ? Or have only white friends ? Belong to groups or clubs with only white members ? Surround yourself with "white" people ?

Are "white nationalists" the same as "white supremacists" ?

I think when President Trump said there were some good people on both sides (in Charlottesville Va.) he could be referring to those who were there to protest the removal of the Lee statue and/or changing the park name. They were lumped in with the  white nationalists by association and were non-violent, unlike ANTIFA and BLM who came uninvited, un-permitted with masked faces and armed.

The media seems intent on focusing on the white nationalists, hardly mentioning antifa and blm that they don't seem to report on anything but Trump and the White Nationalists.

I wasn't sure what "white nationalists" were so I looked up on Wikipedia

Texas Police Academy Instructor Phil Ryan warns all Antifa and BLM protesters, and anyone else interested in defacing their state statues, that if they bring their attitude to Texas, they could end up dead.

In Texas, Criminal Mischief (Vandalism) is a crime. So, let’s say someone is defacing or destroying a monument or a statue, not that it happens, just a hypothetical. That would be Criminal Mischief under Texas Penal Code:
Sec. 28.03. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF.
(a) A person commits an offense if, without the effective consent of the owner:
(1) he intentionally or knowingly damages or destroys the tangible property of the owner;
(2) he intentionally or knowingly tampers with the tangible property of the owner and causes pecuniary loss or substantial inconvenience to the owner or a third person; or
(3) he intentionally or knowingly makes markings, including inscriptions, slogans, drawings, or paintings, on the tangible property of the owner.

Texas Penal Code Chapter 9, which are the laws concerning the use of force and deadly force to protect yourself, someone else, your property, or someone else’s property (could be state, county or municipal property (the peoples). In Chapter 9 under defense of property it says:
Sec. 9.43. PROTECTION OF THIRD PERSON’S PROPERTY.
A person is justified in using force or deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property of a third person if, under the circumstances as he reasonably believes them to be, the actor would be justified under Section 9.41 or 9.42 in using force or deadly force to protect his own land or property and:
(1) the actor reasonably believes the unlawful interference constitutes attempted or consummated theft of or criminal mischief to the tangible, movable property;
Chapter 9.41 states: PROTECTION OF ONE’S OWN PROPERTY.
(a) A person in lawful possession of land or tangible, movable property is justified in using force against another when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to prevent or terminate the other’s trespass on the land or unlawful interference with the property (Criminal Mischief is unlawful interference with property).
Chapter 9.42 states: DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY.
A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property:
(2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary:
(A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime (Night time is 30 minutes after sunset until 30 minutes before sunrise).
Bottom line, if someone is destroying a monument or statue that isn’t theirs, you can defend it by force during the day with deadly force at night.

Pope Francis Stunned Christians With These Bone Chilling Comments

Pope Francis continues to cause turmoil.
His continued attacks on traditional values have outraged millions of believers across the globe.
Now he’s stepped into a massive controversy with a direct attack on Donald Trump.
Pope Francis has disappointed traditional Catholics and Christians with his continued promotion of left wing social justice values.
He spoke again in favor mass migration and open borders – even in the wake of the deadly terrorist attack in Barcelona where Islamic terrorists drove a van into a crowd of people killing 15 and injuring at least 130.
The terrorists were part of a cell that planned a much larger attack and included many foreign born jihadists.
But that didn’t matter to Pope Francis.
He declared the rights of migrants were more important than national security.

“Pope Francis on Monday urged countries to greatly improve their welcome to migrants and stop collective expulsions, saying migrants’ dignity and right to protection trumps national security concerns.
Francis’ politically pointed message was made in view of the Catholic Church’s 2018 world refugee day, celebrated Jan. 14. It comes amid mounting anti-immigrant sentiment in Europe and beyond following waves of migrant arrivals and Islamic extremist attacks.

In the message, Francis demanded governments welcome, protect, promote and integrate migrants, saying Jesus’ message of love is rooted in welcoming the “rejected strangers of every age.”
He demanded a simplified process of granting humanitarian and temporary visas and rejected arbitrary and collective expulsions as “unsuitable.” He said the principle of ensuring each person’s dignity “obliges us to always prioritize personal safety over national security.”
Francis has made refugees a priority of his pontificate, making his first trip outside Rome in 2013 to the island of Lampedusa, ground zero in Europe’s migration crisis. He has repeatedly spoken out for migrants’ rights, demanded countries build “bridges not walls,” and personally brought a dozen Syrian refugees back to Rome with him when he visited a Greek refugee camp in 2016.
Ignoring critics who say his calls are unrealistic and naive, Francis insisted in the new message that border guards must be trained to protect migrants and that each new arrival, regardless of legal status, must be guaranteed access to basic services beyond health care.”

Conservatives also took the comments as another shot at Donald Trump.
Trump made instituting extreme vetting and cutting off the tide of unvetted Islamists into America a centerpiece of his campaign.
He made good on his pledge with an executive order instituting a travel ban for six nations connected to terrorism and a temporary pause on the refugee program until extreme vetting measures could be instituted.
But the global elite – who treat support for open borders and mass migration as religion – were horrified.
Francis was speaking for their concerns when he voiced his opinion that unlimited immigration is more important than defending a nation’s citizens from terrorism.
But the American people have an interest in determining the number of people who enter the nation and under what procedures they are permitted to do so under.
Without that ability, a nation loses its sovereignty.

McCain Praises Trump on Afghanistan

Sen. John McCain on Monday night released a statement praising President Donald Trump's vision for Afghanistan, saying it's a "big step in the right direction."
The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee had been impatient and critical of the administration recently for its lack of a strategy in the war-torn country.
But McCain liked what he heard from thepresident's primetime speech.
"I commend President Trump for taking a big step in the right direction with the new strategy for Afghanistan," the Arizona Republican wrote.
"The unfortunate truth is that this strategy is long overdue, and in the interim, the Taliban have made dangerous inroads. Nevertheless, I believe the President is now moving us well beyond the prior administration's failed strategy of merely postponing defeat," McCain wrote.

America has become a Banana Republic. You know, the kind of place where the media doesn’t report the news, they instead decide what news you should be allowed to hear.

The Mainstream media determines the headlines. And since 99.9% of the people who run the media are either liberal Democrats, or crony capitalists in bed with the DC swamp, they purposely choose headlines to confuse you, distract you, or sadly, outright mislead you. That’s called fraud.
Case in point. What have you heard about for a solid week? A small KKK protest in Charlottesville. And then this past Friday a quick interruption for Steve Bannon's firing.
But isn't news about jobs and the economy dramatically improving under President Trump much more important to the average American?
Under President Obama we had the eight worst GDP (Gross Domestic Product) years in the history of America. Our GDP was under 3% for all eight years of Obama. That’s never happened since the day our country was founded in 1776.
And during the 1930’s (the entire decade of The Great Depression) our combined GDP for the decade was 1.3%. Guess what our combined GDP was for eight years under Obama?1.3%.
We just lived through an "Obama Great Depression." Except this time the media never reported it to the people.
Barack Obama destroyed the US economy and killed the entire American middle class with his obsession with social justice, green energy, open borders, big taxes, big regulations, Obamacare and big government.
Yet the media said nothing. They never reported all this. Instead, the media used the words “in recovery” thousands of times during Obama’s eight years. How could the eight worst years since 1776 be called “a recovery?” It’s all about what headlines the media chooses.
This was a massive cover-up of the failure of Obama’s policies.
Obama was a dream killer. A curse. He was Freddie Kruger.
If Obama’s economy was a movie, it would be “Night of the Living Dead.”
But this week the Atlanta Fed reported something remarkable. They predict the 3^rd Quarter GDP of America will be 3.7%. That’s explosive growth. That’s like the Reagan years.
President Trump has changed everything in only seven months. Just by cutting a bunch of regulations and giving entrepreneurs, risk-takers, CEOs and small business owners “hope,” President Trump has brought us back from the dead.
Donald Trump is a magician. He proved that with the right attitude towards business, you can erase eight years of disaster and failure and misery, in record time.
But has this been a headline in the news? NO. It’s nowhere to be found.
But it’s not just GDP. Corporate earnings are setting records, job growth is phenomenal, there are more manufacturing jobs than at any time since before Obama took office, border crossings are dramatically down, and food stamp use is down by 1.3 million. Trump accomplished all of this in only seven months.

Has any of this been in the headlines? NO. It’s nowhere to be found.
Instead we are fed a steady diet of one protest-gone-bad in Charlottesville. And Donald Trump’s views on white extremism, the KKK and Neo Nazis.
Are you starting to get the picture?
On the same weekend as the one heinous protest and tragic murder in Charlottesville, we had 9 murders and 33 shot on the streets of Chicago. This happens every weekend in Chicago- a city run 100% by Democrats for the past half century..
Did you see that in the headlines? No.
Why was one tragic murder at a protest in Charlottesville far more important than nonstop mayhem and murder on the streets of Obama's hometown of Chicago every single week, 52 weeks a year?
At the same time, Debbie Wasserman Shultz is involved in what might be the biggest scandal in political history- allegedly involving bank fraud, extortion vs. 30 Democrat Congressmen, possible funding of terrorism with taxpayer money, espionage, a gigantic breach of national security, and the sale of state secrets to foreign enemies of America.
Not in the headlines.
At the same time, the FBI has re-opened the investigation into the meeting on the airport tarmac between Attorney General Lynch and Bill Clinton.

Seriously? CNN Changes Headline On Story About Antifa Because They Didn't Like Being Called Violent  Matt Vespa

CNN, you almost did a great thing. In fact, the article you published about the violent Antifa movement was not bad. You showed how they view police as the enemy; how the group’s far left views on pretty much everything is way outside the mainstream, and how they’re lawless. Even those who are studying extremist groups in the country note that the violent course Antifa takes will ultimately kill the movement. Yet, it seems the news network caved to Antifa’s complaining over their original headline: “Unmasking the leftist Antifa movement: Activists seek peace through violence” to “unmasking the leftist Antifa movement.” The editor’s note reads, “This story has been updated to clarify that counterprotesters say they are not to blame for violence at the Charlottesville protest. The story's headline has also been updated.”



What happened in Charlottesville was a disgrace. Both white nationalists and Antifa showed up, melees broke out, and one woman died when a white nationalist plowed through a group of counter demonstrators. I’m not saying Antifa isn’t violent. They are—and CNN did a good job noting this in their story. The problem is that it was a white nationalist who murdered someone.

LET'S BE REAL.....The white Nationalists had a permit to assemble there, it was ANTIFA who "showed up"(along with BLM.) With faces covered or masked and carrying weapons (ax handles, pepper spray,rocks, urine etc.) They came looking for a fight !
The "white nationalist" that killed a woman with his car, was being attacked IN his car by antifa (there was video proof) According to him, he was trying to get away.
I don't understand WHY, when "antifa" shows up with faces covered and holding weapons, they aren't immediately ARRESTED ? ...

Democrats have lost their minds.















Liberals are destroying monuments and committing vandalism in response to Donald Trump’s response to Charlottesville.
But one Democrat found herself in hot water after taking it to the next level and threatening to kill Trump.
Missouri Democratic State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote on her Facebook page that she hoped “Trump was assassinated.”
The New York Post reports:

“A Missouri lawmaker acknowledged Thursday that she posted and later deleted a comment on Facebook about hoping for President Donald Trump’s assassination, saying she was frustrated with the president’s response to the white supremacist rally and violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. Democratic Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal said she was wrong for writing the post and didn’t mean what she said, but she refused calls to resign. She said she wrote “I hope Trump is assassinated!” in response to a post that suggested Vice President Mike Pence would try to have Trump removed from office.“What I wrote down on my private Facebook page, was it wrong? Absolutely,” she told The Associated Press. “But I am going to continue to talk about the anger and the frustration that led to that.”

Her unhinged ranting about killing the President was another example of Democrats calling for violence.
She apologized and quickly deleted her post, but her overheated rhetoric comes at a time when the rise of the violent alt-left is a major story in America.
Just weeks ago a supporter of Bernie Sanders attempted to assassinate Republican members of Congress as they practiced for a baseball game.
Her comments were quickly condemned by Democrats across Missouri, including Senator Claire McCaskill and the State Democrat Party chair who both said she should resign.
The Kansas City Star reports:

Her Facebook comment, which was first reported by a conservative radio host in St. Louis, was condemned by Senate Minority Leader Gina Walsh, a St. Louis County Democrat.
“Promoting, supporting or suggesting violence against anyone, especially our elected leaders, is never acceptable,” Walsh said in a statement. “There is too much rancor and hate in today’s political discourse, and Sen. Chappelle-Nadal should be ashamed of herself for adding her voice to this toxic environment.”
McCaskill, a Democrat, released a statement on Chappelle-Nadal’s comment: “I condemn it. It’s outrageous. And she should resign.”
Stephen Webber, chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party, agreed that Chappelle-Nadal should resign.
“State Sen. Chappelle-Nadal’s comments are indefensible,” Webber said. “All sides need to agree that there is no room for suggestions of political violence in America — and the Missouri Democratic Party will absolutely not tolerate calls for the assassination of the president. I believe she should resign.”
Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway, a Columbia Democrat, tweeted that Chappelle-Nadal’s “words and sentiments are absolutely unacceptable. Violent rhetoric has no place in our political discourse.”

The media was furious because Trump pointed out there was violence on both sides in Charlottesville where Anti-fa and Black Lives Matter clashed with white supremacists.
What they were really mad about was Trump ending the left’s free pass on violence.
The quick reaction to Chappelle-Nadal’s comments is one example of the changing political environment.
Democrats are used to being able to getting away with saying anything they want to about Republicans.
But that day is over.

Smithsonian To Honor Colin Kaepernick's Fight Against Police With Exhibit In Museum

The Smithsonian Institute plans to create an exhibit featuring
items worn by Colin Kaepernick during his national anthem protest for one of its museums in an exhibit done by Black Lives Matter.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. will display a Kaepernick game-worn juery,?? shoes and a picture of Kaepernick, USA Today reported. Damion Thomas, the Washington museum’s sports
curator, said the display would be up within one or two years

“The National Museum of African American History and Culture has nearly 40,000 items in our collection,” Thomas told USA Today in an email. “The Colin Kaepernick collection is in line with the museum’s larger collecting efforts to document the varied areas of society that have been impacted by the Black Lives Matter movement.”
