(London Daily Mail) A Nigerian restaurant has reportedly been shut down for cooking human flesh and serving it to customers.
The police were tipped off by locals who suspected something horrific was taking place inside the kitchen.
They raided the hotel restaurant to discover human heads which were still dripping with blood in plastic bags.

Call it 'gender fluidity': Schools to teach kids there's no such thing as boys or girl

One of the nation’s largest public school systems is preparing to include gender identity to its classroom curriculum, including lessons on sexual fluidity and spectrum – the idea that there’s no such thing as 100 percent boys or 100 percent girls.
Fairfax County Public Schools released a report recommending changes to their family life curriculum for grades 7 through 12. The changes, which critics call radical gender ideology, will be formally introduced next week.
“The larger picture is this is really an attack on nature itself – the created order,” said Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council.
“Human beings are created male and female. But the current transgender ideology goes way beyond that. They’re telling us you can be both genders, you can be no gender, you can be a gender that you make up for yourself. And we’re supposed to affirm all of it.”

 I must confess that I’m a bit old school on sex education. I believe that God created male and female. My reading of the Bible does not indicate there were dozens of other options.

The game was played Saturday in Sochi, the city that hosted the 2014 Winter Olympics, and concluded shortly before Russia played the U.S. in a semifinal of the ice hockey world championships.

During his 15 years as Russia's leader, Putin has frequently displayed his athletic skills, most notably in judo and swimming. He took up hockey only in recent years to promote the sport.

Staff from the Kaikoura Marine Centre and Aquarium moved the squid to safety before the birds swooped down and feasted on its enormous body lying on the sand at South Bay on the South Island of New Zealand on Wednesday.

It was not yet known what the deep sea creature weighs but if the following measurements are anything to go by it is safe to presume it would be seriously hefty: the mantle is more than two metres long with a 19cm eye diameter and the longest tentacle is just over five metres.

Frightening Plan to Take Over the U.S.

   

Many people would think it ludicrous to say that organized plans are in place to lockdown the United States and take over and implement totalitarian control. I would be inclined to agree with them, except…
… that too many coincidences mean the things that are happening are not accidental.
For example, you have papers written for the military on how to lockdown the country under martial law and military exercises to train for situations where this plan could be implemented.
And, then, despite what the media and our government tell you, you have a shocking decrease in poverty levels, yet, poverty situations not improving is a justification given for more government intervention.
And, then, you have disturbing evidence that the protesting that deteriorated into rioting in both Ferguson and Baltimore was planned and may have been created by our own government. For example, a data mining firm discovered disturbing evidence that “professional protesters” acted in both Ferguson and Baltimore to incite the situation. Now, if they are professionals, who is paying them? Could it be people who would benefit from a nationalized police force to control the rioting, which is tantamount to demanding martial law.
People like Al Sharpton who said,
“That’s why we’re going to do this march from here to Washington. We need the Justice Department to step in and take over policing in this country.”
It’s not a hard picture to put together: government plans for takeover, justifications for unrest by saying it is caused by poverty and police racism, professional agitators, a government ready and willing to step in with a public mouthpiece calling for it.
Sounds suspiciously like how the Nazis took over the Weimar Republic in Germany.

George Stephanopoulos apologized Thursday for not acknowledging he donated $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation in recent years.in recent years.

In a statement to Politico, the "Good Morning America" and "This Week" anchor apologized for keeping his contributions from ABC and viewers.

"I made charitable donations to the Foundation in support of the work they're doing on global AIDS prevention and deforestation, causes I care about deeply," he said. "I thought that my contributions were a matter of public record. However, in hindsight, I should have taken the extra step of personally disclosing my donations to my employer and to the viewers on air during the recent news stories about the Foundation. I apologize."

Nepal Earthquake: Why Can't Crews Find Missing Military Chopper?  Erik Ortiz   May 14th 2015,

Crews are continuing the search for a missing U.S. military chopper and its eight passengers after it vanished Tuesday somewhere in the cloaked and craggy Himalayan hillside of Nepal.

   But there remains no contact from the UH-1Y Huey, military officials say, even though the helicopter was equipped with a GPS device, radio and emergency beacon. Its unexplained disappearance has left even experienced helicopter pilots perplexed.

   "It's baffling," retired Army helicopter pilot Jim Weatherill told NBC News on Thursday. "Why isn't the emergency beacon transmitting a frequency to where they might be?"

   The Huey vanished late Tuesday night following a magnitude-7.3 aftershock that rocked Nepal earlier that day, killing at least 96 people. The chopper was on its way to deliver aid in the hard-hit district of Dolakha, east of Kathmandu. Six Americans and two Nepalese service members were on board.

MAINZ, Germany — Archival video footage highlighting Nazi atrocities in Greece is being shown to commuters on the Athens subway as part of a campaign demanding war reparations from Germany.

Seven decades after the end of World War II, the 50-second video is being shown at metro stations across the Greek capital to highlight the fallout of German occupation after 1941.

A compilation of images accompanied by dramatic music, the film starts off with the words: "We save the memory, we do not forget." It also features the tagline: "We claim what Germany owes to us."

It coincides with a government campaign seeking $300 billion in compensation from Germany and the return of "national treasures," which comes amid growing tensions between Athens and Berlin over the Greek financial crisis.

   International inspectors have found   traces of sarin and VX nerve agent at a military research site in Syria that had not been declared to the global chemical weapons watchdog, diplomatic sources said on Friday. Samples taken by experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition and Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in December and January tested positive for chemical precursors needed to make the toxic agents, the sources told Reuters on the condition of anonymity because the information is confidential. "This is a pretty strong indication they have been lying about what they did with sarin," one diplomatic source said. "They have so far been unable to give a satisfactory explanation about this finding."

Amtrak Train Was Traveling at Twice the Speed Limit When It Derailed, NTSB Says

Amtrak said there were approximately 238 passengers and five crew members on board. The mayor said this afternoon that the number of passengers has not been confirmed as officials are still comparing train manifestos and hospital records.

Five people died at the accident scene and a sixth person later died at Temple University Hospital, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Herbert Cushing said. The mayor confirmed a seventh death this afternoon.

The mayor said over 200 people were treated at area hospitals. Ten people remain in critical condition.

North Korea Defense Chief 'Removed' From Role Over Nap: Reports

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea's intelligence agency said Wednesday that Kim Jong Un's defense chief had been "removed" from his position in neighboring North Korea.

It was unclear whether Hyon Yong Chol had been executed or merely ousted by the regime.

A spokesman for the NIS intelligence agency told NBC News he could not confirm news agency reports that Hyon was shot to pieces with an anti-aircraft gun in front of hundreds of spectators.

Reuters, The Associated Press and South Korea's news agency Yonhap reported that lawmakers said the NIS had briefed them on the alleged anti-aircraft-gun execution during a closed-door parliamentary committee session Wednesday.

The lawmakers said that, according to the NIS' intelligence, 66-year-old Hyon was charged with treason, including allegations he had disrespected North Korea's autocratic ruler Kim Jong Un by falling asleep during one of his meetings. By Julie Yoo and Alexander Smith

Hammer-Wielding Suspect Linked to Monday's Attacks Shot After Trying to Hit Officers in Midtown N.Y.

The hammer-wielding suspect believed to have attacked four strangers in separate ambushes within a span of six hours in Manhattan earlier this week was shot in midtown Wednesday after trying to hit two NYPD officers on the street, authorities and a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation tell NBC 4 New York.

The suspect, an image of whom had been captured by surveillance cameras and released by police Tuesday, was shot near West 37th Street and Eighth Avenue around 10 a.m., authorities said. Police and multiple sources initially said the man was dead, though a senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the situation later said he was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. 

The officers he tried to attack were not significantly injured, and the confrontation was captured on an NYPD camera, the senior law enforcement official said. The video shows the male and female officer approach the suspect near a corner; the suspect abruptly turns and swings the hammer at the female officer, the official said. She backs up and the male officer shoots the suspect in the street.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said at a preliminary news briefing Wednesday that the male officer fired four shots at the suspect, and the suspect was hit twice. It wasn't clear where on the body the suspect was shot, but the law enforcement official said he was undergoing surgery at Bellevue Hospital. Another briefing was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

A silver hammer with a black handle similar to the one described in the series of attacks Monday was recovered at the scene. Heavy traffic delays were expected in the area while authorities investigated.
