In the impeachment hearings, I think it was Fiona Hill who said the Ukraine didn't meddle in the US elecions, that it was Russia...Well this news article from POLITICO on Jan.11th 2017 disputes that
Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire
Executive/Director US Intel Community. (Overwatch / CyberSecurity / Special Access) & Editor in Chief Advances MagazineBack in early 2015-November 2016, The UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT engaged in millions of dollars of SABOTAGE in concert with Hillary Clinton's Campaign TO UNDERMINE THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN and TIP THE 2016 Election to the benefit of Hillary Clinton.
It backfired.
The day after Trump was elected, UKRAINE quickly back-peddled and started up a massive APOLOGY campaign to Donald Trump ONLINE and IN THE MEDIA hoping to befriend Trump and mend fences. This was THE OFFICIAL UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT.
The other day Fiona Hill tried to suggest that the Russians were behind this story in RUMORS. I'm including one of nearly 100 news articles which documented the foregoing Ukrainian attacks on Trump, sponsored by Hillary Clinton and the Ukrainian Secret Service.
Fiona Hill is a LIAR. So is Betsy Bree who called me a "russian bot" for this 2017 story from POLITICO as if the Russians were behind it. She's nuts! Both are lying Democrats. Fiona Hill should go to jail. Betsy Bree should join her.
Here, Betsy Bree, you liar. Read the story about Ukraine attacking Trump's campaign, and get a life, maroon:

Note, Politico, a Hillary Backer, did NOT criticize the Ukraine's criminal activities, they criticized the BACKFIRE! Unbelievable!

Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire
Kiev officials are scrambling to make amends with the president-elect after quietly working to boost Clinton.

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.
A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.
The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. But they were far less concerted or centrally directed than Russia’s alleged hacking and dissemination of Democratic emails.

During an explosive interview on Saturday with Fox News host Ed Henry, President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani set the record straight while discussing the fallout from the impeachment hearings.
“Are you afraid, Mr. Mayor that you could be indicted?” Ed Henry questioned Giuliani.
“Oh, wow, how long have you known me, Ed?” Giuliani shot back, adding, “Do you think I’m afraid? Do you think I get afraid? I did the right thing. I represented my client in a very very effective way. I was so effective that I’ve discovered a pattern of corruption that the Washington press has been covering up for three or four years.”
“You should have jumped all over this in 2015 when this awful conflict was mentioned and it was hidden and suppressed by the Washington press,” Giuliani added. “But you know that the reality is, I’m embarrassing you because you didn’t do your job and I’m also going to bring out a pay-for-play scheme in the Obama administration that will be devastating to the Democrat Party.”
“I expected the moment I heard Biden’s name, I told my colleagues they’re going to try to kill me,” he said. “Because they’re going to kill the messenger. But damn it, the mafia couldn’t kill me, your colleagues are not going to kill me.”

Fox Analyst Judge Napolitano Claims Evidence For Impeachment Is 'Overwhelming' 11/22/2019 American Update by: AU Staff
Fox News Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano raised eyebrows during an interview with 'Reason' magazine on Friday that there was 'overwhelming' evidence of impeachable behavior from President Trump.
As Mediaite reports:
Fox News analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano claimed during an interview with Reason‘s Nick Gillespie, Friday, that there is “overwhelming” evidence of impeachable behavior from President Donald Trump
“The Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have unearthed enough evidence, in my opinion, to justify about three or four articles of impeachment against the president,” declared Napolitano. “We have to start this conversation by underscoring the fact that impeachment is not legal, it is political. Its only Constitutional base is treason, bribery, or other hard crimes and misdemeanors.”
“Here’s what I think the Democrats will want, Nick. Here’s what I think they will advance,” he continued. “One is bribery. The allegation is the technical definition of bribery is the failure to perform an official duty until a thing of value comes your way, and they will argue that the president’s failure to disperse funds that the Congress ordered be dispersed until the recipient of the funds agreed to investigate a potential political opponent is an act of bribery. That is enough, in my opinion, to make it over the threshold of impeachable offenses. I don’t think it’s enough to convict of bribery, but it’s enough to allege it for the purpose of impeachment.”
...Later on in the interview, Napolitano also proclaimed, “The evidence of his impeachable behavior at this point, in my view, is overwhelming.”
AH...But according to Schiff, it's NOT the close of the investigation, it will go on, and on, and on, like the "energizer bunny"
As impeachment hearings draw to a close, witnesses have failed to produce hard evidence of wrongdoing on the part of President Donald Trump. Heritage Foundation senior legal fellow Hans von Spakovsky unpacks what we learned this week-and what to expect going forward.
So... after the "house" submits their report and possibly goes to trial in the Senate,...Schitt will continue to gather info on Trump, hoping to find something, anything, that he might be able to use for impeachment,...THIS MAN (if you can call him a man) IS SICK....! HE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM CONGRESS...!!!
Trump Inquiry Won’t End With Impeachment Report, Schiff Says Billy House and Joe Light Bloomberg
(Bloomberg) -- The investigation of misconduct by the Trump administration will continue even after a House committee submits an initial report that could lead to the impeachment of President Donald Trump, said the Democrat leading the proceedings.
“What we’re not prepared to do is wait months and months while the administration plays a game of rope-a-dope in an effort to try to stall,” Representative Adam Schiff of California, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” one of two appearances on Sunday talk shows.
Schiff said that the facts of what the president did “are really not contested” and that the Democratic case is “iron-clad.”
After two weeks of televised hearings, House impeachment lawmakers return behind closed doors this week for the next steps in their investigation of Trump; namely, turning factual findings into a formal report for the House Judiciary Committee.
Schiff said his committee will continue to collect documents and potentially conduct depositions or hearings after the report is sent. He is OBSESSED with impeachment of Trump...!

For reference, future or otherwise....It seems as though some of our "representatives" have FORGOTTEN the true meaning of "who they are" or what the term "representative" actually means.....especially in the democrat party...
representative (rɛprɪˈzɛntətɪv) noun
"a person or thing that represents another or others"
House of Representatives
The lower house of the United States Congress. With 435 popularly elected officials, the House (as it is often called) is the most representative body in the federal government. House seats are apportioned (see apportionment) relative to each state's population. Because of its larger size, the House tends to maintain a closer link to local constituent concerns than the Senate, though both houses of Congress participate in virtually all aspects of legislation and policymaking. The Speaker of the House is one of the most influential officials in Washington, D.C., and is second in succession to the presidency, after the vice president.

GOP Congressman and Trump Critic Will Hurd Confirms Opposition to Impeachment 2019-11-22 Source: TTN by: TTN Staff

GOP Representative Will Hurd who has been a vocal critic of many of President Trump's actions and policies issued a powerful conclusion following the end of the House Intelligence Committee's public impeachment hearings.
Hurd stated that he thinks that while President Trump's actions were wrong and an improper foreign policy approach he does not believe the President's actions rise to the level of impeachment.
Hill was viewed as a GOP Rep who could join Democrats in supporting impeachment because of his moderate stance, past criticisms, and the fact that he does not face an upcoming election due to retirement.
Part of Hurd's statement is below:
"An impeachable offense should be compelling, overwhelmingly clear and unambiguous, and it is not something to be rushed or taken lightly. I have not heard evidence proving the president committed bribery or extortion. I also reject the notion that holding this view means supporting all of the foreign policy choices we have been hearing about over these last few weeks."
