Question: What Is This Picture Of Al Sharpton’s National Action Network Missing!?Al Sharpton National Action Network Diversity, January 27, 2015.

Two weeks ago, Al Sharpton called “for an emergency meeting of his eight-member diversity task force,” all because the movie “Selma” received just one Oscar nomination:
“The movie industry is like the Rocky Mountains, the higher you get, the whiter it gets,” Sharpton said with usual flair in a statement released Thursday after the announcement of Oscar nominations.
Many, including Sharpton, were outraged that none of the actors in “Selma,” a movie about the 1965 Voting Rights Act, were nominated for the golden statues.
Now take a look at the picture up top. It features the board of director’s for Al Sharpton’s National Action Network. Is it just me or do all its members happen to be extraordinary black?
The folks over at the Daily Surge put it like this: “The national staff doesn’t [seem to] fare much better on the ‘diversity‘ barometer either.”
Ain’t that an ironic bitch!?
Now let me be clear. Conservatives like me care zip zero that Al Sharpton’s National Action Network lacks diversity. I assume it lacks diversity because non-blacks see no reason to join up with the kooky troop of racial grievance mongers. Likewise,
I imagine that only a few so-called “black movies” show up at the Oscars because so few black people make hit movies. By the same token, I imagine that some companies reportedly lack diversity because fewer qualified minorities apply.
