Pair Use Assault Rifle To Rob North Philadelphia Convenience Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are searching for two people who used an AR-15 style assault rifle to rob a corner store in Philadelphia.
The robbery happened at about 8:40pm on January 22nd, at the Clearfield Food Market, on Clearfield Street near 26th, in North Philadelphia.



Police are searching for two suspects who used an assault rifle to rob a corner store in Philadelphia.

   Surveillance video shows the robbers barging into the store and one of them pointing an AR-15 rifle at an employee behind the counter.
The pair stole $500 in cash before running out of the store.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 19-20 years-of-age, thin build, 5’11”, light skin. He was wearing a black ski mask, orange hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, tan pants and was armed with a black AR-15 style rifle.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 19-20 years-of-age, medium build, 6’0”. He was wearing a black ski mask and all dark clothing.
