Barack Obama met with his Attorney General Loretta Lynch a former U.S. Federal Prosecutor from gun-hating New York a few weeks ago. They came up with a string of Executive Actions nominally designed to prevent violence but really to make it harder for people to purchase firearms privately.

He said: I'm confident that the recommendations that are being made by my team here are ones that are entirely consistent with the Second Amendment and people's lawful right to bear arms, and we have been very careful recognizing that, although we have a strong tradition of gun ownership in this country, that even those who possess firearms for hunting, for self-protection and for other legitimate reasons want to make sure that the wrong people don't have them for the wrong reasons."

As with everything he says it sounds good but it isn't. He's creating more federal snoop jobs, but we'd be amazed if it stops a single crook.
