Following Hurricane Katrina and the lashing it gave President Bush running the headlinefor being slow off the mark back then, you would think today's media would be alert to a disaster afflicting Louisiana. 
          
Due to massive flooding over the last week, one-third of the state's parishes (called counties everywhere else) are now swamped, official federal disaster areas.
And from the mainstream media as the waters rose? Crickets.
Even the mighty New York Times was shamed into  "We neglected our duty in Louisiana flood coverage."
Look and see what they failed to write about. It's further proof of two things:
1) The coastal elites despise our homeland and the "little people"; 
2) The government is never the solution.
