Sen. Schatz: Listen to Corker's Warnings About WWIII

Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, said Americans should pay close attention to Sen. Bob Corker's comments that President Donald Trump's recklessness is risking World War III.

Corker, R-Tenn., had made his remarks in an interview with The New York Times.
He had charged that Trump was treating his office like a "reality show," and making threats toward other nations. Corker maintained it could set the U.S. "on the path to World War III."
Schatz took to Twitter on Sunday night to urge people to heed Corker's warnings. His comments were first reported by The Hill.
Schatz tweeted: "There's a tendency to wonder about the politics of Corker's interview. Ignore that, and listen to his warnings about an accidental war... War on Korean Peninsula could shut down trade to and from Asia for months or years... War on the Korean Peninsula would cause millions of lives to be lost... There are nearly 200,000 Americans living in South Korea and Japan."
