Trump Pushed Jeff Sessions Aside To Take Down Mueller On His Own GREAT AMERICAN DAILY
Jeff Sessions has been a major disappointment for Trump.
As one of his first supporters, conservatives had high hopes.
But now Trump has set him aside to take Mueller down on his own.
As the head of the Justice Department, it is Jeff Sessions’ job to handle Robert Mueller.
In basic terms, Sessions is his boss.
But Trump is Sessions’ boss, and Trump is who he should be answering to as Attorney General.
President Trump continues to make it clear that he wants Sessions to take care of Mueller.
But Sessions hasn’t followed through on Trump’s requests, instead of letting the witch hunt continue.
It’s for that reason that Trump isn’t dealing with Sessions anymore.
Instead, he is going to get involved in the ongoing investigations on his own.
At a rally in Indiana, Trump blasted Jeff Sessions and the Justice Department.
“Our Justice Department and our FBI have to start doing their job, doing it right, and doing it now because people are angry,” Trump said.
He then made his want for Sessions to stay out of the investigations known.
But that was right before making it clear that he may have to get involved.
A question plaguing any Trump supporter is why Sessions isn’t stopping Mueller.
Mueller has made a mockery of the Justice Department.
Most Americans don’t believe him.
Their disbelief reflects poorly on the entire Justice Department, which already has issues of mistrust from the public.
Robert Mueller is the epitome of all the problems Americans have had with the agency.
