Stunning Admission About Donald Trump’s Chances Of Winning the GOP Nomination

1,237 is the magic number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination on the first ballot.
Many pundits believe if Donald Trump enters Cleveland short of that number, the establishment will swindle the nomination from him in a brokered convention.
But a jaw-dropping admission by a member of the RNC’s Rules Committee turned conventional wisdom on its head.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Randy Evans declared Trump could win the nomination, even if he heads into the Republican National Convention just short of the magic number.
Politico reports:

“If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee, even though he may not have 1,237,” Georgia lawyer Randy Evans told MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
 But if the GOP presidential frontrunner doesn’t surpass the 1,000 delegate mark, Evans said it could lead to a days-long contested convention.
“And then in the middle there’s that gray area between 1,000 and 1,100, and that’s where the unbound delegates or the delegates that have been released by other candidates come into play to see if there are enough of those to get either [Ted] Cruz or Trump over the finish line,” he said.

In defiance of Black Lives Matter, Tracy Martin said that the movement is meaningless as long as blacks continue to kill each other.

    Tracy Martin was speaking before the 30th Annual Charles W. Kegley Memorial Institute of Ethics at California State Bakersfield on Tuesday when he uttered the words that will drive BLM into a frenzy.

“We gonna keep killing one another. I tell people all the time that we are committing genocide,” said Martin.And then here’s the thing that if a white guy said it would be considered the most racist statement ever:

   “We’re on the brink of extinction at the way these shootings and killings are going on. We keep the funeral homes and the penal system in business. When are we going to wake up? I’m a realist. We can’t sit up and scream that black lives matter at any other ethnicity group if Black lives don’t matter to Black people,” he said.

   This is what I find interesting here: Black Lives Matter is a movement that was created because of Trayvon Martin’s death and it is a fact that the black activists get super-pissed off when anyone suggests that black-on-black violence is more of a pressing issue than hyped up and fictionalized racism. But this is the father of the person who spawned the movement saying that blacks killing blacks is the real problem. Something’s gotta give.
This could cause the movement to collapse on itself, creating a racism supernova that neither race-hustling nor manufactured outrage can escape.

Trump's Rants Anger Delegates: 'No Way He Wins Unless He Gets 1,237'

Donald Trump's relentless assault on the rules that govern how Republicans choose their nominee is coming far too late to change what even what defenders acknowledge is a complicated selection system.
He seems to know it, too.
Instead, his railing against a "rigged" process appears aimed at amplifying his central message to an angry electorate: America is a mess, and only Trump can clean it up.
"Politicians furiously defended the system," Trump wrote Friday in The Wall Street Journal. He equated the party's nomination procedures with the "unfair trade, immigration and economic policies that have also been rigged against Americans." He added, "Let me ask America a question: How has the 'system' been working out for you and your family?"
Underlying the constant criticism, Trump's goal is to rally supporters and pile up primary season victories that would bring him the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination outright before the summer convention. But it's a tactic that Republicans say carries real risks for the billionaire businessman.

TV Host Explodes Over Obama Rigging Hillary’s Criminal Investigation   Steve Thompson

Heads turned across the political world as the crew of MSNBC’s Morning Joe blasted Barack Obama for his statements regarding the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
The left leaning MSNBC has been considered by critics as not so much a news network but more of a propaganda mouthpiece for the Obama regime.
So the words used by the network’s anchors shocked observers.
Former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough kicked off the verbal torching by tearing into Obama for “rigging” the investigation.
Scarborough’s response was in reference to Obama declaring that Hillary had in no way jeopardized national security and that he was not applying pressure of any kind to the FBI.
The Washington Free Beacon reports on Scarborough’s reaction:

“Can you guys believe what you just heard?” co-host Joe Scarborough asked the panel with a bewildered look on his face after playing clips from the Obama interview. “He said he wasn’t going to talk to the attorney general about the pending investigation, but he just did, as he did back in October when he said, ‘No national security issues here. Nothing to see, move along.’’
   Scarborough referenced a New York Times article from October in which FBI agents complained that the president should let them conduct their investigation before drawing conclusions about its outcome before they finish.
   “And he just did it again!” Scarborough exclaimed. “And then in the same interview [he] said, ‘I’m not talking to my attorney general about it.’ Talk about a rigged process.”

The Obama administration has sought to offer some undocumented immigrants a guarantee that they would be allowed to stay in the United States temporarily. The president's done so in two steps. In 2012, he allowed undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. at a young age to apply for a temporary reprieve from deportation. Then, in 2014, he expanded on the policy by including older undocumented immigrants who had come as children in the policy, as well as the undocumented parents of U.S. citizens.

The state legislature of North Carolina attempted to retain the silly old notion that "single-sex, multiple-occupancy bathroom and changing facilities" should be entered based on a person's biological gender, not what the one they imagine it to be. People on the left have gone berserk.

World Leader Accuses Obama of TREASON on the Floor of the United Nations

Lost in the media hype surrounding the addresses of Presidents Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin to the United Nations General Assembly on Monday was a bombshell claim by the president of Argentina.

    President Christina Fernandez de Kirchener announced that her nation had been approached by an Obama administration official with a request that Argentina provide enriched nuclear fuel to the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2010.
    The official in question was Gary Samore, former White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, who did not dispute the seemingly outrageous claim and has been open about his opposition to the nuclear agreement currently worked out between Obama and Iran.
 

Kirchener said that Samore wanted Argentina to provide nuclear fuel to Iran, ostensibly to counter Iran’s excuse that they needed nuclear fuel for their reactors, removing the impetus for them to continue their own uranium enrichment program.
Kirchener stated that the deal fell through when her government asked for the request in writing, to abide by proper protocol, at which point the issue was dropped and Kirchener never heard from Samore again about it.
For his part, Samore released a statement admitting that he had in fact traveled to Argentina in 2010 and made the request, though he insinuated the incident was no big deal.

 

In fact, Samore went on to explain how after Argentina balked at the deal, he subsequently approached France and Russia with a similar proposal in which Iran would send their low-enriched uranium to Russia, which would further enrich it before sending it along to France.
France would in turn finish converting the enriched uranium into nuclear reactor fuel, sending it back to Iran for its own use, ostensibly preventing the Islamic republic from weaponizing its uranium stockpiles.
This deal fell through as well, according to Samore, leading to the 2010 U.N. resolution that increased economic sanctions on Iran, ultimately bringing them to the bargaining table for the horrible deal Obama eventually worked out with them this year.
The White House did not immediately respond to the potentially treasonous allegations.

But the majority of legal immigrants are not admitted through so-called employment-based preferences, they are admitted through chain-migration or the so-called family reunification policies that led to the admission of 1,976,122 immigrants to America during those three years.

Palin Says Voters, Not Insiders, Should Decide GOP Nominee

Sarah Palin says voters will "rise up" in opposition if Republican power brokers try to take the presidential nomination away from Donald Trump or Ted Cruz at the GOP convention this summer.
The 2008 vice presidential nominee told The Associated Press on Thursday that GOP voters have the right to decide the party's nominee and will rebel if House Speaker Paul Ryan or some other "white knight" is chosen at a contested convention. Ryan said this week he will not seek or accept the nomination.
Palin said voters know better than to be fooled by party leaders.
"How dare they?" Palin asked, denouncing "arrogant political operatives who underestimate the wisdom of the people."
If party leaders try to intervene at the July convention, "we will rise up and say our vote does count, our activism does count," she said.
Those who try to thwart the will of the people "are the ones who need to leave," she said. "We don't need to leave."
Palin, who has endorsed Trump, said she is confident he will win the GOP nomination, but that she can support Cruz if he emerges as the nominee.
She said she backs Trump because he is "so reasonable and so full of common sense and knows that for America to be great again we have to develop our natural resources" such as oil and natural gas.
The former Alaska governor was in Washington to promote a new documentary that seeks to debunk what it calls myths and hype about human-caused global warming. The movie, "Climate Hustle," questions whether there is a genuine scientific consensus about global warming and features more than 30 scientists who reject mainstream climate science.
Palin said she wants viewers "to feel empowered to ask questions about what is being fed them by the scientific community." The movie opens May 2.
On other topics, Palin said Ryan has failed as House speaker because he did not ensure that the House approved a budget. And while she said she does not regret staying out of the presidential race, she did not rule out a possible presidential bid in the future.

Can a gunmaker be held liable for crimes committed with its products?
That's what nine families of victims and a school administrator who survived the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting are arguing in court Monday as they sue the makers of the Bushmaster rifle used in the attack.
It might be an uphill battle, though. The case has been considered by many as a "textbook" win for the gunmaker, considering a 2005 law that protects manufacturers from any liability as long as their products are purchased legally.
In this case, the gun was legally bought by, and registered to, the mother of the gunman –– whom he killed before going to the school.
Instead of arguing the gun shouldn't have been sold to the gunman's mother, the plaintiffs are saying the weapon should have never been put on the market.
Their argument is that the AR-15 rifle was designed for military use and "mass casualty assaults," and that it is a negligent decision to distribute it to civilians.
A Connecticut judge is now deciding whether to let the argument be fully heard in court or to dismiss the case.

1. Issue a presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available  to the federal background check system.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks....."FAST AND FURIOUS" ?
5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers....."FAST AND FURIOUS" ?
7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).
9. Issue a presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.....Can you say "FAST AND FURIOUS" ?
10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement......"FAST AND FURIOUS" ?
11. Nominate an ATF director.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effectiveuse of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to developinnovative technologies.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

Sanders: I don't owe Sandy Hook victims' families an apology

Bernie Sanders was booed loudly during the Democratic presidential debate Thursday night when he refused to apologize to the victims of the Sandy Hook massacre for his stance on gun control.

In a tense moment, CNN moderator Wolf Blitzer challenged Sanders on his view that crime victims should not be able to sue gun makers for damages.

Blitzer said to Sanders, "The daughter of the Sandy Hook elementary school principal who was killed back in the 2012 mass shooting says you owe her and the other victims' families an apology. Do you?"

The Brooklyn debate audience booed Sanders as he initially avoided the question.

Pressed again by Blitzer, the Vermont senator said, "No, I don't think I owe them an apology. They are in court today, and actually they won a preliminary decision today. They have a right to sue, and I support them."

Sanders had said said that he voted against the gun liability law because he believed "that in rural areas all over this country, if a gun shop owner sells a weapon legally to somebody," the store owner should not be held responsible for what it later done with the gun.

"I don't believe it is appropriate that that gun shop owner ... be held accountable and sued," he said.

Rival Hillary Clinton has repeatedly attacked Sanders for his vote on the law, saying it shows he is in the pocket of the gun lobby............NO, IT SHOWS COMMON SENSE ! !
