Attorney General William Barr had an exclusive interview with NBC News’ Pete Williams where he noted his concerns with the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on FISA abuses under the Obama administration. The review concerned how the FBI acted concerning the FISA spy warrant it obtained against former Trump campaign official Carter Page. Overall, the report noted that there were over a dozen errors when it came to the FISA application, including omitting information and exculpatory evidence, a failure that was systemic. The IG report does torch the FBI but noted that there was no evidence of political bias concerning the bureau’s investigation into the Trump campaign in 2016. That’s a serious issue. And all the deviations from department policy appear to be those who wanted to try and hurt the Trump campaign. Yet, there’s no bias? This is why there’s so much skepticism on that part of the report because we know there was bias. It was ingrained when former FBI officials Lisa Page and Peter Strzok’s text messages were revealed. The DOJ IG does not have subpoena power, so a deep dive was not possible, but it was a nice appetizer to the main course: AG Barr’s investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation, which is headed by U.S. Attorney John Durham. The investigation recently became a criminal one.

Every time that a president was impeached before, Congress actually accused the president of committing a crime.

Democratic Texas Rep. Al Green said Thursday that House Democrats could impeach President Donald Trump multiple times.
Green said in a C-SPAN interview that a “president can be impeached more than once” and that there is “no limit” to the number of times the House can vote on impeachment.
“I think that the Mueller report has some issues in it that ought to be considered. I think the obstruction of the Comey investigation has issues that should be considered, and I think the invidious discrimination that I have called to the attention of the public ought to be considered,” Green said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation was ripped for deviating from department policy concerning the application process. The FBI used the unverified Trump dossier, which was a Democrat-funded opposition research project. The Hillary Clinton campaign hired research firm Fusion GPS, who then contracted ex-MI6 spook Christopher Steele to compile the document. It’s riddled with inaccuracies. And it’s the work that set off this Russian collusion nuke in the media. It was a myth.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday and admitted to host Chuck Todd that impeachment is about preventing Trump from being reelected in 2020.
Nadler let the cat out of the bag and admitted what we have known all along — the Dems do not have a candidate who can beat Trump in 2020 so their only hope is to remove him from office.
“We are also faced with a very direct threat that this president put himself repeatedly above the interest of the country and poses a threat to the integrity of the next election…he poses a threat to the integrity of the next election if he’s allowed to continue to do what he’s doing,” Nadler said.
Chuck Todd asked Nadler what the consequences would be if the House impeached Trump and then was acquitted in the Senate.
“I don’t know how [Trump] will take acquittal. I don’t know if he will be acquitted,” Nadler said. “The president poses a threat to our election — that he put himself, his own interests above the interests of the country…”
Chuck Todd then asked Nadler, “If he’s acquitted, do you believe we will have a fair election in 2020?”
“I don’t know. But the president based on his last performance will do everything he can to make it not a fair election and that is part of what gives us the urgency to proceed with this impeachment,” Nadler concluded

It was bad enough for House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) to subpoena the phone records of businessman Lev Parnas and President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani and other political opponents, but when he released them in his impeachment report it was a stunning abuse of power. In the view of columnist Kimberly Strassel, Schiff’s move “trampled law and responsibility…it was a disgraceful breach of ethical and legal propriety.”
Not surprisingly, Trump-hating members of the news media trumpeted the release of the call records as a major step toward the President’s impeachment. Their desire to destroy the President is so all-consuming that they missed the bigger picture. Instead, journalists should have been outraged by this invasion of privacy and misuse of power. These records should have never been released to Schiff or any politician and should have never been included in his impeachment report.
The purpose of the release was to embarrass President Trump, Giuliani and Jay Sekulow, the President’s attorneys, John Solomon, investigative reporter, and Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA), ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee. All of these individuals are on Schiff’s political enemies list.
By releasing the information, Strassel states that Schiff “claims the ignominious distinction of being the first congressman to use his official powers to spy on a fellow member and publish the details.” Congratulations Adam Schiff you have reached a new low in the long history of the United States Congress!
The records prove nothing except that calls were made between certain individuals as no contents of the conversations were provided. Not surprisingly, Schiff has not explained how he obtained the records. Either AT&T complied with a subpoena or this information was provided by the Department of Justice. Some are speculating that the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York released the information. This is the office that has charged Parnas with various violations of campaign finance laws.

According to President Trump himself, his personal attorney "found plenty" during his trip to Ukraine where he hoped to expose the Biden family for their corruption.
On Saturday while speaking to reporters, President Trump said that Giuliani's trip was a success and that he is “going to make a report, I think to the attorney general and to Congress. He says he has a lot of good information.”
“I have not spoken to him about that information yet,” Trump continued. “He has not told me what he found, but I think he wants to go before Congress and also to the attorney general and the Department of Justice. I hear he has found plenty.”
President Trump was then asked why he chose not to participate in the impeachment hearing on Monday.
“The impeachment thing is a total hoax,” President Trump said. “The numbers have totally swung our way. They don’t want to see impeachment. Especially in the swing states they’ve swung our way. I’ve never seen a swing like this. Because people realize it’s a total hoax. We had a perfect conversation. It was only a conversation. Nothing came out of the conversation, except for the relationship with Ukraine. And the people see that it’s just a continuation of this three-year witch. And I’m looking forward to seeing the IG report. I hear they’re announcing it on Monday. And I look forward very much to seeing what happens with the Durham report, maybe even more importantly. Because it’s a horrible thing that took place, and it should never happen to another president.”
According to the New York Times, Giuliani went to Hungary and Ukraine last week for several meeting including one with former Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko.
“What Mr. Giuliani is doing at this point is still confidential and is for the sole purpose of proving his clients innocence. In doing so he will prove that this latest farce is even more baseless and malicious than the first attempted coup takedown. Once all individuals have returned safely to the United States, we will reveal the significant witnesses involved,” said a Giuliani spokeswoman.
“Andriy Telizhenko, a former Ukrainian diplomat and associate of Giuliani, wrote on Twitter Friday that Giuliani was ‘prepping for tomorrow another hard working day’ meeting former Ukrainian prosecutors Yuriy Lutsenko and Viktor Shokin,” CNN reported. “To all conspiracy theorist there is no secret on what we are doing,” Telizhenko wrote. “The TRUTH will come out. God Bless Ukraine and God Bless the United States of America.”
In a tweet on Friday, Giuliani urged the United States along with Ukraine to start “a large scale joint investigation” into corruption. “In reviewing my notes, it seems to me that a large scale joint investigation into Ukraine and the US would uncover and recover billions stolen by crooks, from both countries, at the highest levels,” Giuliani said. “This would be the most effective way to bring our two countries together.”

Pensacola, FL – U.S. federal officials have confirmed that the Saudi nationals linked to the terrorist attack at a U.S. naval base in Florida have been detained, but no arrests have been made at this time.
“We work with the presumption that this was an act of terrorism,” Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent in Charge Rachel Rojas said during a press conference on Sunday, according to USA Today.
During an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien also said that the mass shooting “appears to be a terrorist attack,” and that the FBI is working to determine whether or not that assessment is correct.
“It appears that this may be someone that was radicalized,” O’Brien said. “It’s unclear if he’s got ties to any other organizations…this is a guy who may very well have said some things on Twitter that suggest he was radicalized. He went out and killed a number of Americans, so my point is, it looks like terrorism.”
