Bill Clinton's Lost Tape: I Could Have Killed Osama Bin Laden

Just 10 hours before the attacks of September 11, 2001, where nearly 3000 innocent people perished at the orders of Osama bin Laden, ex-President Bill Clinton was in Australia saying he had a chance to take the former al-Qaeda leader out — but passed.
At the time, bin Laden was lesser known to the general public but was on the FBI's Most Wanted list for his role in the 1998 attacks on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. Clinton was in Melbourne, speaking to a small group of business leaders on Sept. 10, 2001, and he was asked about terrorism.
"I’m just saying, you know, if I were Osama bin Laden — he’s a very smart guy, I've spent a lot of time thinking about him — and I nearly got him once,” Clinton says in the recording. "I nearly got him. And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him. And so I just didn't do it."
The recording was lost and forgotten about until last week, when Michael Kroger, the former head of the Liberal Party in the Australian state of Victoria, remembered he had the tape, and Sky News in Australia played it on Thursday.

U.N., Kerry Announce 72-Hour Cease-Fire in Gaza
The United Nations representative in Jerusalem, Special Coordinator Robert Serry, received promises that all parties have agreed to the cease-fire, according to a joint statement from the U.N. and State Department.
Shortly after the announcement, Hamas' top official, Izzat al-Rishq, announced on Hamas-run Al Aqsa TV that his group has agreed to the cease-fire.
It is set to commence at 8 a.m. local time (1 a.m. ET) on Friday, August 1, and will last for a period of 72 hours unless extended. "During this time the forces on the ground will remain in place," they said.
The joint statement said "Israeli and Palestinian delegations will immediately be going to Cairo for negotiations with the Government of Egypt, at the invitation of Egypt, aimed at reaching a durable ceasefire."
It also said the pause in fighting was necessary to give residents a much-needed break from violence. During the cease fire, civilians in Gaza will receive humanitarian relief and have time to bury the dead, take care of the injured and restock food supplies.

BREAKING: Obama Personally Tells Israel to Surrender to Terrorist Demands

Barack Obama has basically come out demanding that Israel wave the white flag and surrender to Hamas terrorist forces, calling for an “immediate” ceasefire between the two due to growing concerns about civilian casualties in Gaza.
What the president doesn’t seem to understand is that Israel has already attempted a number of ceasefire agreements with Hamas, but the terrorist group has rejected them all.
Five different truces have been drafted and proposed, all approved by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but Hamas leaders rejected them and continued launching rockets into Israel.

Biden Says America Needs MORE Immigrants  Speaking to the National Association of Manufacturers Vice President Joe Biden said, “We need a constant, unrelenting stream” of new immigrants — “not dribbling [but] significant flows.”
Apparently America needs these immigrants because there’s no way we’ll be able to find workers to do the work necessary to keep the nation growing.
According to Biden, illegals are “already Americans.” How  out of touch are politicians in Washington?          Here’s video proof…

Explaining the surge of child migrants from Central America

A record number of children from Central America are crossing the Mexico-U.S. border unaccompanied by a parent. Many of them are fleeing drug violence at home, but here in the United States, they’re faced with a new set of challenges …

In December, dozens of mothers converged on the central Mexican town of Tequisquiapan, where they laid pink paper flowers on a lonely stretch of train tracks to mourn their lost children. As the train passed, crushing the flowers, the mothers stood on the hot gravel siding and watched. They came from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Their children, among the tens of thousands who ride atop these trains each year attempting to cross the U.S. border, were the ones who didn’t make it.

Immigration reform: White House weighing possible executive action

Immigration reform: White House weighing possible executive action

Reports that President Barack Obama could use executive orders to enact immigration policies could force a showdown with Republicans with broad constitutional implications.
Stories from the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times and  Politico indicate that the White House is considering using executive orders, a tactic already heavily criticized by Republican leaders, to defer some deportations and expand work permits to currently illegal immigrants.
With House Republicans already set to sue President Obama in federal court over what are seen as executive abuses of power over the Affordable Care Act, such aggressive actions from the White House wouldn’t go unchallenged.

Car Ax-cident Shatters Passenger's Nerves     Jul 30, 2014,   By ABC NEWS

PHOTO: Motorists were startled when an axe from a dump truck in front of them flew at their windshield.
The ax, which had not been properly secured by the dump truck in front of the vehicle, went halfway through the window, according the Massachusetts State Police. The ax blade rested on the dashboard on the passenger side of the car while much of the handle stuck out of the windshield.
The frightening incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. today as the car traveled on Route 95 in Topsfield, Mass. The passenger in the car, who was not identified, "was shaken up," but not injured, a police statement said.
Trooper Joseph Risteen of the Newbury Barracks responded to the accident and the truck driver, who was identified only as being from Peabody, Mass., was fined $200 for failure to secure cargo.
Officers with the Massachusetts State Police hope that the incident serves as a tale of caution to drivers to properly secure items they are carrying like tools, bicycles, canoes and furniture. It was also a reminder, police said, to follow the speed limit. The driver in the incident had been going a legal 65 mph, and officers noted that if the car had been traveling above the limit, it would have increased the ax's impact and been a possibly fatal situation.

I wish they would stop playing around and DO it !

Watch: When Even MSNBC Hosts Are Saying Things Like This, You Know Obama Is In Trouble   Justin Koski

MSNBC host Chuck Todd said the American people are “fatigued” from President Obama

The new polls echo a “voter’s remorse” according to co-host Thomas Robers, for putting Obama in the White house. The CNN poll showed that Romney would win 53-44 this time, instead of the 51 percent Obama won with.
Todd pointed out that the average job rating for Obama in states with a competitive Senate race is only 38 percent.         “This is a country that is fatigued from this president,” Todd said. “The more foreign policy problems that pop up, you see in the poll numbers a lack of confidence in him, so to me those polls are more reflective of Obama the person and the president. It says nothing about the state of, for instance, either party.”

The Vatican is banning Nancy Pelosi from taking Communion

BOOM: Vatican Says Nancy Pelosi “Must” Be Denied Communion

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is one of the most despised members of Congress, and there’s a laundry list of reasons that could be cited as justification for the animosity.

Pelosi was one of the central figures that spearheaded the movement to ram Obamacare down the throats of the American public, despite the majority of citizens being opposed to it.
The California congresswoman has also played the part of a pawn in the overall scheme of the Obama administration, being an ever loyal lapdog defending the actions of the White House during the Benghazi investigation.

Perhaps the most heinous acts of Pelosi’s career is her defense of abortion, an act which has raised the concern of the Vatican, since she claims to be a “devout” Catholic. In light of her consistent support of “reproductive rights” and “family planning,” the Vatican has banned Pelosi from taking communion.

Obama Thanks Muslims for ‘Building the Very Fabric of Our Nation’    July 28, 2014 By

As Muslims throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families.  This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate.  While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.
In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.  That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.
On behalf of the Administration, we wish Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration.  Eid Mubarak.
Earlier this month a Gallup poll indicated that 72% of Muslims approve of the job Obama is doing, even though his support has plummeted among virtually every other group.

Two weeks ago,
Obama celebrated the Muslim holiday of Ramadan in the White House.

Keep Your Guns at Home: Stay Granted in Washington D.C.Carry Case Katie Pavlich | Jul 29, 2014

The ability for citizens, D.C. residents and outsiders alike, to carry a handgun open or concealed in Washington D.C. didn't last long. Just days after Federal Judge Frederick Scullin knocked down Washington D.C.'s complete carry ban as unconstitutional, he has issued a 90-day stay in the case.

A resident in northern New Jersey got a scare after waking up and finding a black bear in the kitchen.
Vernon police say the bear broke a screen and climbed through a window. Its paw turned on the sink faucet and flooded the counter top.
Police say the bear tore through the kitchen cabinets and left once the homeowner began screaming.

The bear was gone before police arrived. GOOD, they probably would have shot and killed him

This Is What Happens When Bear Tests Bear-Proof Trash Can By  Jul  2014

PHOTO: Bear-proof trash cans were tested at a facility near Yellowstone National Park.
A Colorado testing facility outside of Yellowstone National Park observed a bear’s attempt to get into a bear-resistant trash can, and to the bear’s chagrin when the can truly was resistant.
“We put the bear’s favorite food inside [of the can] and it has 60 minutes of pushing, biting, and chewing,” Randy Gravatt, a testing coordinator at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, told ABC News of a typical product testing routine. “If they do not get in after 60 minutes and the latch is still intact, the product can be labeled ‘bear resistant.’”
Residents of Boulder Colorado are encouraged to bear-proof their garbage, making bear-resistant trash cans a popular product.
The major difference between a regular trash can and a bear-resistant one is typically a latch inside the lid that can only be released by either a single finger or a hand, something a bear claw cannot activate.
But, you can never be too sure your garbage is truly safe.
“It’s impossible to really ‘bear-proof’ something,” said Gravatt. “Give a bear 24 hours and it could get into almost anything.”

AK-47 Maker Sends 'Regrets' to U.S. Gun Lovers

AK-47 Maker Kalashnikov Dies At 94

MOSCOW - Russian arms maker Kalashnikov expressed its sympathies on Tuesday to U.S. consumers who cannot buy the company's famous weapons as a result of sanctions over Ukraine. U.S. sanctions have struck some of Russia's most famous arms companies. They may also wipe out a recent deal Kalashnikov signed to deliver 80,000 to 200,000 guns a year for the next five years to the U.S.
"Kalashnikov regrets that consumers are faced with such a problem," spokeswoman Yekaterina Boni said. "The current situation shows once again that our weapons are very popular among Americans and the implementation of sanctions goes against their very own interests." The conflict in Ukraine has left relations between Russia and the West at their worst since the Cold War. Washington introduced rounds of sanctions against Russian individuals and companies and the European Union looks likely to follow suit after a Malaysian airliner was downed over territory held by Russian-backed rebels in eastern Ukraine.
Israel Strikes Fuel Tanks at Gaza's Only Power Plant
The fuel tanks at Gaza’s only power plant came under attack early Tuesday, threatening to deepen an already dire humanitarian situation.
The attack came hours after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned in a televised speech of a "prolonged" campaign in Gaza against Hamas. Israel carried out more than 70 strikes overnight - one of the biggest bombardments in the nearly month-long campaign. A Palestinian health official told The Associated Press that at least 100 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes and tank shelling on Tuesday.
Thick black smoke billowed over Gaza City as the fire raged at the power plant, which is the enclave's second-largest source of electricity and the only provider inside the territory for its 1.8 million citizens.
Fathy Sheikh Halil, who is the director of the Gaza Electricity Station Company, said the damage would take months to repair.
Jamal Dersawi, the plant’s general manager, confirmed that the major fuel storage tanks supplying the facility took a hit before dawn. There was no immediate comment from Israel’s military about the attack.

Gov. Perry Could Give National Guard Arrest Powers            Matt Vespa | Jul 27, 2014

As the border crisis drags on, Governor Rick Perry of Texas, a Republican, has decided to take matters into his own hands; he’s ordered 1,000 National Guard soldiers to head towards the border. It will cost $12 million a month.
Additionally, these units could be given arrest powers if they come across any immigrants trying to illegally enter the United States (via NYT):
In 2006, President George W. Bush sent 6,000 troops to the four border states where they repaired and built fences and roads, conducted surveillance and took over administrative and logistical duties. In 2010, Mr. Obama deployed 1,200 troops to bolster border security. Troops in those deployments did not have arrest and apprehension powers.   The ones due at the border next month will work side by side not with federal Border Patrol agents but with state police officers of the Department of Public Safety. They will not be able to enforce federal immigration laws but may be able to enforce state law. A 19th-century federal law [Posse Comitatus] that makes it a crime for military personnel to perform civilian law enforcement activities does not apply to state-duty troops.     It remains unclear if Mr. Perry will grant the troops the authority to make apprehensions. General Nichols suggested this week that Guard troops could do so if the governor requested it but that they had no plans to.        Mr. Perry has previously favored such powers. In a letter to President Obama last month, he asked him to deploy 1,000 troops under presidential authority and to give those troops “arrest powers to support Border Patrol operations.”

I’m sure Attorney General Eric Holder and the Obama administration will have a problem with this…after their next fundraiser.

SWAT raids are dangerous, and things often go wrong. People may shoot at the police if they mistake the cops for ordinary criminals and pick up guns to defend their homes against invasion. Sometimes cops kill the frightened homeowner who raises a gun.

Policing America   John Stossel | Jul  2014

I want the police to be better armed than the bad guys, but what exactly does that mean today?
Apparently it means the Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security equip even the tiniest rural police departments with massive military vehicles, body armor and grenade launchers. The equipment is surplus from the long wars we fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
To a hammer, everything resembles a nail. SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) teams were once used only in emergencies such as riots or robberies where hostages were taken. But today there are more than 50,000 "no-knock raids" a year.
It's not because crime got worse. There is less crime today. Crime peaked around 1990 and is now at a 40-year low. But as politicians keep passing new criminal laws, police find new reasons to deploy their heavy equipment.
Washington Post reporter Radley Balko points out that they've used SWAT teams to raid such threatening haunts as truck stops with video poker machines, unlicensed barber shops and a frat house where underage drinking was reported.

Traditionally, international law only governed the relations between nations. But now, this concept has evolved into something that’s threatening the very foundation of our country.
Case in point: As young illegal immigrants pour across the Mexican border from Central America, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is hoping America grants them refugee status.
The UN believes that if we refuse these sick, poverty-stricken children, it will be a violation of international law…

Illegal Alien MS13 Thugs Arrested for Murder of Maryland Man

July 27, 2014      Just kids with teddy bears, eh? Not so much.
Prince George’s County police are reporting that Amos Jones, the man stabbed to death in Suitland early Tuesday morning, was murdered by MS-13 gang members.
Six people have been arrested in the murder of Amos Jones, several of whom are confirmed to be members of MS-13.
The homeless man who they murdered was apparently making comments to one of their girlfriends. The girl went to get the MS13 thugs and returned to kill him.

Benjamin Netanyahu To John Kerry: 'This is Not Vietnam'

Secretary of State John Kerry had numerous conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and other Israeli and Palestinian officials about the violence erupting in Gaza. The New Republic describes those meetings and one conversation in particular between Kerry and Netanyahu.
The prime minister opened the meeting by playing Kerry a video on one of his favorite topics: Palestinian incitement. It showed Palestinian children in Gaza being taught to glorify martyrdom and seek Israel’s destruction. “This is the true obstacle to peace,” Netanyahu told Kerry.
“It’s a major issue,” Kerry replied. “And nothing justifies incitement. I hate it. I’ve read Abbas the riot act about it. You know I have. But it is worthwhile to try to understand what life looks like from the Palestinian point of view.”
“This has nothing to do with the occupation and the settlements,” Netanyahu said.
Kerry pressed on: “When I fought in Vietnam, I used to look at the faces of the local population and the looks they gave us. I’ll never forget it. It gave me clarity that we saw the situation in completely different ways.”
“This isn’t Vietnam!” Netanyahu shouted. “No one understands Israel but Israel.”

Netanyahu: Israel can lose on PR but not security
The Associated Press
Published: July 27, 2014       By Philip Elliott

WASHINGTON — Every Palestinian civilian's death costs Israel in its fight for world opinion, but the Jewish state must not cede its security for the sake of public relations, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said as he pressed his nation's case on America's Sunday news programs.
In a phone call later Sunday, President Barack Obama told Netanyahu the United States is growing more concerned about the rising Palestinian death toll and the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza. The White House said Obama reiterated that Israel has a right to defend itself and condemned Hamas rocket attacks that have killed Israelis, but pushed for an immediate cease-fire.
Making his case to an American audience, Netanyahu said Palestinians are trying to shape global opinion with images of piled-up, slain civilians.
"We're telling the civilians to leave, Hamas is telling them to stay," Netanyahu said in satellite interviews from Israel. "Why is it telling them to stay? Because it wants to pile up their own dead bodies."
He added, "They not only want to kill our people, they want to sacrifice their own people."

 Do Blacks Need Favors?

Walter E. WilliamsWalter E. Williams | Jul 23, 2014

An article written by a black man, about blacks

Earlier this month, the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act was celebrated. During the act's legislative debate, then-Sen. Hubert Humphrey, responding to predictions, promised, "I'll eat my hat if this leads to racial quotas." I don't know whether Humphrey got around to keeping his promise, but here's my question: Is it within the capacity of black Americans to make it in this society without the special favors variously called racial preferences, quotas, affirmative action and race-sensitive policies? What might a "yes" answer to that question assume and imply about blacks? Likewise, what would a "no" answer assume and imply? Let's look at it.

John Kerry Gets Caught With Hot Mike Ripping On Israel.. Fox News Host Calls Him Out
While reports show that there have been civilian casualties on both sides of the conflict, Kerry’s statement seems to imply that he has his doubts about Israel’s claims to be successfully avoiding civilian casualties.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace used the accidentally recorded statement made by Secretary of State Kerry to put the Secretary in the hot seat. Referring to it sarcastically as an “extraordinary moment of diplomacy,” Wallace asked Secretary of State Kerry if he felt that the Israelis were going too far in their assault.
Kerry’s response was measured and practiced, a far cry from what was heard over the open mic. Some would argue that it is in moments like these when the administration’s true feelings toward their allies come to the fore. It has been suggested that a better understanding of the administration’s viewpoint of its allies would provide a clear picture of what its intentions in world events are.

Smoke from Israeli strikes rises over Gaza City

Smoke from Israeli strikes rises over Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip, Sunday, July 27, 2014. Israel resumed its Gaza offensive on Sunday, calling off a unilateral extension of a humanitarian cease-fire after Palestinian militants fired several rockets at southern Israel. The rocket fire began late Saturday after Gaza's Hamas rulers, who have demanded the lifting of an Israeli and Egyptian blockade on the territory and the release of prisoners, refused to extend the truce.
