(Getty)Washington (CNN) -- A man with two bags tried to jump the fence outside the White House on Friday and
was apprehended, a Secret Service spokesman told CNN.
According to Edwin Donovan of the Secret Service, police were heading to the White House to check the bag.
President Barack Obama was not at the White House at the time. He was in Michigan for a speech and the signing of the farm bill.
