First Responders Denied Access To 9/11 Memorial PartyWed, May 21, 2014
Former Sen. Al D'Amato (R-N.Y.) weighs in on reports that first responders were turned away before a VIP party held last night before the 9/11 memorial's official opening. The responders were denied access to the gravesite that houses the remains of 1,115 identified victims in order to allow for party preparations to continue uninterrupted. Mayor Bloomberg and Conde Nast affiliates were among the black tie guests.
