A Trump-Palin Ticket? It Could Happen!
July 28, 2015 by Ann Werner
If you were unsure about Donald Trump before, this just may be the one thing that will convince you he is clinically insane.
Yesterday, The Donald made an appearance on The Palin Update and had only good things to say about the former half governor of Alaska and failed vice presidential candidate. Maybe it was because she characterized him as a “hero,” even though he made disparaging remarks about her former running mate, Arizona Senator John McCain. According to Palin, “Trump is the candidate giving voice to untold millions of fed-up Americans witnessing a purposeful destruction of our economy and the equal opportunity for success that made America exceptional. We’re watching career politicians throw away our kids’ future through bankrupting public budgets and ripping open our porous borders which, obvious to all us non-politicians, puts us at great risk.
Basking in the glow of Palin’s homage, Trump said she was “tough and smart” and a leader who stood up to “disgusting lies,” prompting host Kevin Scholla to ask, “If there is a Trump administration, could you see picking up the phone, giving the governor a call and picking her brain on some things, or perhaps having her along in some official capacity?”
Trump’s reply was an enthusiastic yes! “I’d love that. Because she really is somebody who knows what’s happening and she’s a special person, she’s a really special person and I think people know that. Everybody loves her.”
According to Trump, voters “like the Sarah Palin kind of strength, you just don’t see very much of it anymore.”
