Recently, President Obama made an announcement that he intends to bypass Congress and make changes to our immigration laws in yet another executive order.
This is in direct violation to the separation of powers defined in the Constitution, by which the Legislative branch is responsible for making up law, and providing standards for executing that law. Similarly, the Executive branch is responsible for enforcing those laws as set and defined by Congress.
