They should ask BARR how he got so rich right near the end of his tenure as A.G. Net worth $50 million ??

January 6th Committee Bring Bill Barr In For Questioning

(RoyalPatriot.com )- According to a source familiar with the meeting, former Attorney General Bill Barr met with the committee investigating the Capitol Riot on Thursday.

According to a CNN source, the former attorney general reportedly met with the panel for more than two hours. Barr also answered questions about former President Donald Trump’s election fraud claims and his discussion of the topic in his book, “One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General,” according to a source familiar with the meeting.

The meeting takes place ahead of the committee’s hearings on the findings of its investigation into the Capitol riot, which start on June 9.

CNN reported that the former attorney general had previously spoken with the committee informally. According to the publication, one of these conversations took place at his home in the fall, with Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, the committee vice chairwoman, and committee lawyers present.

According to CNN, Barr was questioned about his interactions with former President Donald Trump both before and after the 2020 presidential election.

The committee also questioned Barr about his statement in December 2020 that the Department of Justice had not found evidence of widespread election fraud significant enough to call the election results into question.

At the time, MAGA supporters were outraged by Barr’s statement, including Trump’s former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who said that “with all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance” of an investigation into Trump’s election claims.

The former attorney general, who left the Trump administration in December 2020, just before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, also named special counsel John Durham to investigate the FBI’s Russia.

In his resignation letter, with sympathy for the former President, Barr stated that the nadir of this campaign was the effort to cripple, if not oust, Trump’s administration with wild and baseless accusations of collusions with Russia. Few could have survived these attacks, let alone forged ahead with a positive plan for the country.

Conversely, in March, Barr said of Trump that he believed he was responsible for the riots. He said that it appears that part of the plan was to send his group up to the Hill, and the whole point was to intimidate Congress.

Barr felt that was wrong.
