The Muslim college student who lied to cops about getting attacked on the subway by drunken Trump supporters took a plea deal on Friday.

Yasmin Seweid, 19, copped to falsely reporting an incident and disorderly conduct for the bogus claim.

Seweid, of New Hyde Park, L.I., said hate-filled white men harassed her and tried to snatch the hijab off her head during an encounter on the No. 6 train on Dec. 1.

Seweid previously admitted she wasted police resources to cover up for her missed curfew.

She must go through six months of counseling and complete three days of community service.

If Seweid fulfills the terms of her deal, the top charge against her will be tossed and she'll be left with just a violation.

The prosecutor read an apology letter from Seweid.

"I was stupid," the teen wrote. "I plan to continue to find ways to better myself."

She's due back in court in November to update the court on her progress.

Though I rarely watch Sean Hannity anymore, I’m nevertheless grateful to him for unmercifully pounding away at the Dirty Dems day in and day out. That said, I am obliged to point out a habit of his that makes me cringe when I do watch his show. It’s his seemingly compulsive need to make apologetic, qualifying statements.

Example: Whenever Hannity starts to talk about corruption at the FBI, he immediately interrupts himself and assures his viewers that “This isn’t about the tens of thousands of rank and file FBI agents who are honest, hardworking patriots.”

Question: How does Hannity know that corruption at the FBI is only at the top? All FBI agents have power, and we all know that power corrupts. The only thing different about top-echelon FBI officials is that they have virtually absolute power, and Lord Acton clearly warned us about the danger inherent in such power.

If rank-and-file members of the FBI are so pure, where have all the whistleblowers been throughout the fraudulent Russia-collusion investigation? Certainly, there must be many rank-and-file agents who are aware of at least some of the corruption involved in this massive hoax.

Likewise, Hannity repeatedly says that 98 percent of illegal immigrants are “hardworking, law-abiding people who just want a better life for themselves and their families.” Question: What evidence does he have to back up such a statement?

But being fair to Hannity, he’s far from alone when it comes to this compulsive habit. Such qualifying statements seem to be ingrained in the apologetic psyches of a majority of conservatives. We all remember Malevolent Mitt’s reference to Barack Obama as “a nice guy” and Mush McCain’s calling him “a decent family man.” Question: On what did these two political jellyfish base such statements?

Even the great Laura Ingraham, a giant among conservative populists, had one of those apologetic-twitch moments recently when she said of Michelle Obama, “… for all of her beauty, her glamour, her obvious accomplishments, the former first lady just can’t get past race.” C’mon, Laura, there’s no possible way that you believe Michelle Obama is beautiful, glamourous, or accomplished.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) said on Friday that the United States government should pay reparations to families that were separated after they entered the United States legally or illegally and faced immigration proceedings.

Jayapal appeared on MSNBC to talk about her interaction with Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker during a House Judiciary hearing on Friday, where she asked him about family separations.

“Our country is still reeling from the horror of family separations that occurred at the border,” Jayapal said ahead of questioning Whitaker.

Jayapal told MSNBC host Joy Reid that the separations are “a heinous crime that has been committed on thousands of children.”

Jayapal slammed Whitaker for what she called a “dismissive” attitude and for saying that people have “a lot of passion” about children whose parents brought them to the border and an uncertain fate.

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Friday it received another tranche of documents from a January 2018 FOIA lawsuit that revealed the FBI actively covered up a ‘chart’ of potential violations by Hillary Clinton.

The newly obtained emails came in response to a May 21 order by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton to the FBI to begin processing 13,000 pages of records exchanged exclusively between Strzok and Page between February 1, 2015, and December 2017.

The FBI may not complete review and production of all the Strzok-Page communications until at least 2020, reported Judicial Watch.

Three days after then-FBI Director James Comey’s July 2016 press conference where he usurped the DOJ and exonerated Hillary Clinton, a July 8 2016 email chain reveals a Special Counsel to the FBI’s executive assistant director in charge of the National Security Branch, whose name is redacted, wrote to Peter Strzok and other officials that he was creating a “chart” of Hillary Clinton’s violations they found during the investigation and reasons to NOT prosecute.

Look at how Schumer and other Democrats paint President Trump. Yet, until Trump declared for the presidency, actually more accurately become the presidential nominee, Democrats just thought of the man as a person who would never be president. Ergo, no threat to the establishment. 

Schumer and other Democrats attacked Attorney General nominee Jeff Sessions. They called the man who destroyed the Klan in Alabama a ‘racist’. How’s that for irony!

Violating a decades-old tradition of leaving politics at home when addressing foreign nationals, the potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate spent much of his speech suggesting America had violated its commitment to “human decency” and other cornerstones of democracy. Biden has said that he wishes to restore “civility” and “respect” to American politics.

“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right,” Biden asserted. “The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”

Biden said: “While I cannot speak today as an elected government official who is able to set policy, I can speak as a citizen. I can offer insight into my country. I know we’ve heard a lot today about leadership, but in my experience, leadership only exists if somebody — and others — are with you. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — President Donald Trump is lashing out at key officials involved in the Russia probe, namely former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and the current deputy attorney general, Rod Rosenstein.

In an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," McCabe, who was fired last year by the FBI, described Rosenstein as having raised the prospect of invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. Trump says McCabe and Rosenstein "look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught."

Trump tweets: "This was the illegal and treasonous 'insurance policy' in full action!"

Rosenstein issued a denial of McCabe's account last year. He said any suggestion that he had ever advocated for the removal of the president "is absolutely false."

Maybe we shouldn't tell them when WE purchase a gun.....

President Trump Issues Challenge To Deep State

President Trump put McCabe and Rosenstein on notice, accusing them of plotting against him. Fox News reports:

President Trump on Monday accused Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe of pursuing an “illegal and treasonous” plot against him, after McCabe detailed private DOJ discussions about secretly recording and potentially ousting the president.

The alleged discussions have been a subject of fierce debate – and conflicting accounts – for months. But McCabe revived the issue during promotional interviews for his forthcoming book, telling CBS News’ “60 Minutes” that Rosenstein was “absolutely serious” when he suggested recording Trump in the tumultuous days following James Comey’s firing as FBI director.

Trump seethed on Twitter over the comments, calling McCabe a liar before lashing out at top DOJ and FBI officials, including ousted Attorney General Jeff Sessions, for what he described as a “deranged” plan.

“He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught … There is a lot of explaining to do to the millions of people who had just elected a president who they really like and who has done a great job for them with the Military, Vets, Economy and so much more. This was the illegal and treasonous ‘insurance policy’ in full action!” he tweeted.

With McCabe’s book release and the Mueller report winding down, the whole Russian collusion narrative is nearing its end.
