8 Ways That HR 1, ‘For the People Act,’ Imperils Free and Fair Elections By Kelly Mar 16, 2021
HR 1, the deceptively titled “For the People Act,” has arrived in the U.S. Senate after a party-line vote in the House of Representatives. It is without doubt the most dangerous and irresponsible election bill I have ever seen.If it becomes law, it will interfere with the ability of states and their residents to determine the qualifications and eligibility of voters, to ensure the accuracy and validity of voter registration rolls, to secure the integrity of elections, and to participate and speak freely in the political arena.
HR 1 is an 800-page monstrosity that would usurp the role of the states. It would not only eliminate basic safety protocols, but mandate new, reckless rules and procedures.
HR 1 Would Gut Voter ID Laws and Much More: Hans von Spakovsky speaks with Mark Levin
1) It would eviscerate state voter ID laws that require a voter to authenticate his or her identity. Indeed, it would force states to allow anyone to vote who simply signs a form saying that they are who they claim they are.
When combined with the mandate that states implement same-day voter registration, it means I could walk into any polling place on Election Day, register under the name John Smith, sign a form claiming I really am John Smith, cast a ballot, and walk out.
Not only would election officials have no way of preventing that or verifying that I am not really John Smith, I could repeat this at as many polling places as I can get to.

The concrete factory went up in disregard to the ramifications on Marvin's business. To add insult to injury, the factory construction disconnected the muffler shop from the city sewage lines. An indifferent city government then chose to fine Marvin for this.
His business and livelihood were in ruin. Rather than lie down and die, Marvin chose to fight back. Over the course of a year and a half Marvin secretly outfitted the bulldozer he bought to save his business with three inch thick steel and concrete armor, camera systems guarded with bulletproof glass.
On June 4th 2004 Marvin Heemeyer lowered the armored shell over top of himself, entombing himself inside the Killdozer to make his last stand.
He burst forth from the walls of his muffler shop and straight into the concrete factory that ruined his business. Over the course of the next several hours Marvin drove his Killdozer through 13 buildings owned by those officials that had wronged him, including the city council building itself.
Swat teams swarmed the dozer, but it proved immune to small arms fire and even explosives. Another piece of heavy machinery was even brought out to fight the Killdozer, but it too fell to the dozers righteous fury.
In the end, Marvin's Killdozer became trapped in one of the buildings it was built to destroy. Marvin chose to take his life, the only life he took that day.
Today we celebrate Killdozer day and Marvin Heemeyer, the last great American folk hero. A man driven to the brink who chose to fight back against an indifferent system.
From notes left behind after his passing:
"I was always willing to be reasonable until I had to be unreasonable. Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things."

On the Tuesday edition of his show, Carlson criticized the president after comments during a Monday media briefing in which he talked about changing the culture of the military in ways like “designing body armor that fits women properly, tailoring combat uniforms for women, creating maternity flight suits, updating requirements for their hairstyles.”
Meanwhile, he noted that China, America’s most pressing adversary, was going in the opposite direction.

“China’s military becomes more masculine as it’s assembled the world’s largest navy, our military needs to become, as Joe Biden says, more feminine,” Carlson saidHe added that “identity politics is Joe Biden’s priority. It’s all that matters” and noted that “the U.S. military exists to fight and win wars. That is its only purpose. The U.S. military is not an NGO [nongovernmental organization]. It is not a vehicle for achieving equity. It is not a social experiment. It’s definitely not an employment agency.”
This led to plenty of pushback, including an official news release in which the Department of Defense bragged that a “Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That Dissed Diversity in U.S. Military.” Good use of time there.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday acknowledged the crisis surrounding the surge of children crossing the southern border — but blamed it on the Biden administration inheriting a “broken system” from former President Donald Trump.
“The facts are these: there are more children. About 600, 700 more children, unaccompanied children, coming over the border. This is a humanitarian challenge to all of us,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on ABC News’ “This Week.”
“What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border, and they are working to correct that in the children’s interest,” she said.
But Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) said blame for the crisis at the border rests solely in President Biden’s lap and said the president’s policies are inviting migrants to make the dangerous trek to the US.
Asked by “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace whether Biden is responsible for the increase in migrants and the number of apprehensions, Cassidy said, “Empirically, it’s entirely.”
“When people think they can get in, they begin sending their unaccompanied child across Mexico, where she may be kidnapped and trafficked,” Cassidy said, alleging that immigration officials told migrants in Spanish that the border was “open.”
“There can be no equivocations when it comes to someone who is thinking of joining a caravan,” he added.
More than 29,000 unaccompanied minors crossed the border in February, according to figures from US Customs and Border Protection, and the numbers of people apprehended at the Mexican border totaled more than 100,000 last month — a 28 percent increase from January.
The one-month total of children arriving at the border is nearly as high as the number of kids for all of last year.
The stream of migrants coming to the border has overwhelmed federal immigration authorities so much that Biden authorized the Federal Emergency Management Agency to “help receive, shelter and transport the children” over the next 90 days.
Pelosi praised the move to involve FEMA.
“I’m so pleased that the president, as a temporary measure, has sent FEMA to the border in order to help facilitate the children going from one — the 72-hour issue into where they are cared for as they are transferred into family homes or homes that are safe for them to be,” she said.
“So this, again, is a transition for what was wrong before to what is right,” Pelosi added.
Biden has been criticized by Republicans for rolling back many of Trump’s immigration regulations including the “Remain in Mexico” policy that required Central American asylum seekers to stay in Mexico while US courts reviewed their claims.

Small Business Owner Praises Trump During Biden Visit MARCH 15, 2021
A small business owner during a visit to the Biden White House praised former President Trump during the visit.
According to The Washington Free Beacon:
At an event designed to showcase President Joe Biden’s small business agenda, a store owner credited the Republican-backed Paycheck Protection Program passed during the Trump administration for helping save his business.Mike Siegel, the co-owner of a Washington, D.C., hardware store, told Biden during his Tuesday visit that the PPP allowed his business to pay at-risk employees while they stayed home from work during the coronavirus pandemic. “The first thing that we did was we took all of our at-risk employees and we sent them home, and we paid them through that entire process,” Siegel told Biden. “That first wave of PPP loans was very helpful to allow us to do that.”
The first wave of PPP loans was sent out in April 2020 under President Donald Trump, not Biden, who criticized the PPP loans during the campaign. Biden argued that the money went to big corporations rather than to American small businesses like Siegel’s.
While the goal of Biden’s visit was to tout the exclusive two-week window he established for small businesses to apply for new aid, Siegel’s business might not have survived to apply for the loan without the support it received last year. The store, W.S. Jenks & Son, received a $162,800 loan last April and put all the money toward payroll.
Biden downplayed the effectiveness of the PPP program before taking office.

President Biden is reportedly planning the first major hike in federal taxes in almost 30 years to fund the economic program set to follow the recently approved $1.9 trillion pandemic stimulus package.
Unidentified sources told Bloomberg that the increases will reflect the promises Biden made during his 2020 campaign.
The planned increases reportedly include: raising the corporate tax from 21 percent to 28 percent; increasing the income tax rate on people making more than $400,000; expanding the estate tax; paring back tax preferences on pass-through businesses such as limited-liability companies; and setting up a higher capital gains tax rate for individuals making at least $1 million…
Biden had said during his campaign that he would repeal Trump’s tax cuts on “day one” of his administration, though he has yet to do so.
It seems hat Biden is wasting little time in imposing a radical left-wing agenda on Americans, right after he spent all of 2020 attempting to appear as moderate as possible.

But Senator Lee wasn’t done, when pressed further for his thoughts on H.R.1, the misnamed “For The People Act,” Lee said “Everything about this bill is rotten to the core. This is a bill as if written in hell by the devil himself,” he continued, saying he thinks the bill, if signed into law, would amount to an overreach by the federal government and take away “all sorts of decisions” away from states.
As Aris Foley reported in an article for The Hill, Sen. Lee suggested he thinks that H.R. 1, which awaits consideration in the Senate, is “apparently in an effort to ensure an institutional, revolutionary, Democratic party of sorts.”
“One that can remain in power for many decades to come. It does this by taking away these decisions. Elections in America has always been conducted at the state and local level. They are completely flipping that principle on its head, so that these things can all be micromanaged from Washington,” he continued before observing the measure is unconstitutional.
And just to make things perfectly clear Sen. Lee concluded by saying, “That’s wrong. It’s really wrong. It’s bad policy.”
H.R. 1 requires states to enact online, automatic, and same-day voter registration and to give voting rights to the formerly incarcerated, and does away with voter ID laws by allowing voters to sign sworn affidavits instead of showing an ID.
The bill also requires all states to hold 15 days of early voting as well as no-excuse mail voting while offering online ballot tracking and prepaid postage, and the option for voters to return their ballots at drop boxes.
Got that?

Get Ready for the Biden Exit By Kelly-Mar 12, 2021
By Robert Ringer
The worst-kept secret in Washington is that Joe Biden is suffering from late-stage dementia. With pressure mounting on him to give a State of the Union Address, in addition to a legitimate press conference (meaning, one in which he answers questions about things other than his dogs and his favorite ice cream), look for Democrats to expedite their nefarious plan to put him out to pasture sooner rather than later.
If Republicans had a spine, they would be calling for an investigation into those responsible for pulling off this Chauncey Gardiner scam on the American people. The only difference between Biden and the real Chauncey Gardiner (in the movie “Being There”) is that the film character was actually able to put his pen in his pocket.

Student Defeats College at Supreme Court March 10th, 2021
A Christian student who was blocked from passing out flyers on campus has won, at the Supreme Court.
According to The Daily Wire:
A Christian college student who was barred by the college from sharing Christian flyers on campus and told he had to reserve a “free speech zone” time slot has been vindicated by the U.S. Supreme Court. On Monday, the Court ruled 8-1 in favor of Chike Uzuegbunam, who sued Gwinnett College in Georgia after the college interfered with him passing out the flyers in the summer of 2016.The Court explained the events that led to the lawsuit:
In 2016, Chike Uzuegbunam talked with interested students and handed out religious literature on campus grounds. Uzuegbunam stopped after a campus police officer informed him that campus policy prohibited distributing written religious materials outside areas designated for that purpose. A college official later explained to Uzuegbunam that he could speak about his religion or distribute materials only in two designated speech areas on campus, and even then only after securing a permit. But when Uzuegbunam obtained the required permit and tried to speak in a free speech zone, a campus police officer again asked him to stop, this time saying that people had complained about his speech. Campus policy at that time prohibited using the free speech zone to say anything that “disturbs the peace and/or comfort of person(s).”The officer told Uzuegbunam that his speech violated campus policy because it had led to complaints, and the officer threatened Uzuegbunam with disciplinary action if he continued. Uzuegbunam again complied with the order to stop speaking. Another student who shares Uzuegbunam’s faith, Joseph Bradford, decided not to speak about religion because of these events. Both Uzuegbunam and Bradford sued certain college officials charged with enforcement of the college’s speech policies, arguing that these policies violated the First Amendment.
The only dissenting justice was Chief Justice John Roberts.
