When I read the articles about Ferguson and the protests all over the country, I always think to myself "what is wrong with these people" ? I'm sure everyone does and has their own ideas, as I do, about a solution or what should be done. I have dealt with quite a few blacks over the years and even though they might be "friends", may times they were argumentative or confrontational, usually for no good reason. When I saw this article in "freenorthcarolina" and read it, it seems to be the best article I have ever read explaining the reasoning behind the black race, why and how they think the way they do. READ.... Confessions of a Public Defender
I am a public defender in a large southern metropolitan area. Fewer than ten percent of the people in the area I serve are black but over 90 per cent of my clients are black. The remaining ten percent are mainly Hispanics but there are a few whites.
I have no explanation for why this is, but crime has racial patterns. Hispanics usually commit two kinds of crime: sexual assault on children and driving under the influence. Blacks commit many violent crimes but very few sex crimes. The handful of whites I see commit all kinds of crimes. In my many years as a public defender I have represented only three Asians, and one was half black. As a young lawyer, I believed the official story that blacks are law abiding, intelligent, family-oriented people, but are so poor they must turn to crime to survive. Actual black behavior was a shock to me.
The media invariably sugarcoat black behavior. Even the news reports of the very crimes I dealt with in court were slanted. Television news intentionally leaves out unflattering facts about the accused, and sometimes omits names that are obviously black. All this rocked my liberal, tolerant beliefs, but it took me years to set aside my illusions and accept the reality of what I see every day. I have now served thousands of blacks and their families, protecting their rights and defending them in court. What follow are my observations. More @American Renaissance
Police in Ferguson, Missouri, Face Gunfire During Burglary CalloutDecember 31st 2014,
Shots were fired at police officers in Ferguson, Missouri, as they tried to arrest six people suspected of a break-in on Tuesday night, authorities said. The officers were responding to reports of a burglary at Beauty Town, a store that was torched during the protests against the killing of Michael Brown. The officers found several people coming out of the store carrying hair products, according to a statement by the City of Ferguson sent to NBC station KSDK. The statement said that shortly after the officers told six people they were under arrest and began taking them into custody, two rounds of shots were fired directly at them.
The first round came from behind the store where an apartment block is located, the city said, while the second came from across the street after the officers ducked for cover to avoid being hit. Other officers responded to the incident and were able to set up a perimeter and clear the scene within 15 to 20 minutes, the statement added. Despite a search, police said they were not able to find any weapons or people believed to be involved with the shooting and officers said it does not appear to have been planned. The six people arrested have been charged with burglary.

Surprise: 96 Percent of Illegal Immigrant Families With Deportation Orders Never Showed Up to Immigration Hearings Leah Barkoukis | Dec 30, 2014
When tens of thousands of illegal immigrants from Central America crossed the border earlier this year, many of them had to be released on their own recognizance because there simply wasn’t enough space to detain them all. Now, a Houston television station has confirmed what we knew would happen all along: the vast majority of them never showed up for their immigration hearings. KeepReading + VIDEO
A 9-year-old boy is on an “awesome” hunting trip in South Carolina after mistakenly asking a Pennsylvania sheriff to teach him how to hunt.
Alex Collins flew to Chester, S.C., Monday to hunt with Chester County Sheriff Alex Underwood for two days. The sheriff took Alex shopping for boots, pants, a camouflage jacket and a fishing tackle box. Then he lent Alex his favorite rifle and showed the boy how to hold it safely. After that they had a hearty breakfast and ventured into the deep woods to look for deer.
“Awesome,” the Rock Hill Herald quoted the boy about his adventure.
Underwood has a program where he offers to take kids hunting and fishing. The boy’s mother saw the offer on Facebook but when she saw Chester County she thought it was Chester County in Pennsylvania. That’s where she and her son live.READ FULL STORY
Zebra finches perch on a tree in the Kanto region of Japan,
It seems birds, like humans, also have a penchant for drunk singing.
A group of scientists gave some zebra finches spiked drinks and found that while the buzzed birds didn't fly around willy-nilly while drunk, they certainly sounded sloshed when they sang.
Zebra finches were chosen for the study because scientists said the birds learn a song "in a manner analogous to how humans learn speech."
After the finches readily knocked back a few bird-sized drinks, the group of researchers at the Oregon Health & Science University found the birds' learned song had an altered acoustic structure, according to their findings, which were published in PLOS ONE.
Certain syllables also sounded different when the birds were under the influence, much like plenty of the crowd one would see at their local karaoke night.
The study could help scientists learn more about how alcohol effects the human brain and learned motor behaviors.
BREAKING: Muslim U.S. Congressman Busted Working With Terrorist Frontman Monday, December 29th, 2014
One of the two sitting U.S. Congressmen who happen to also be Muslim was caught working together with a known frontman and fundraiser for terrorist groups.
Indiana Representative Andre Carson (D) took part in a major Islamic convention in Chicago this weekend. The convention was hosted and sponsored by the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America.
Carson was a featured guest on a panel discussing the events in Ferguson and beyond. He was joined on that panel by a man named Mazen Mokhtar, who is known for operating an Al Qaeda website and fundraising for the Taliban.
It is presumed that Carson knew who Mokhtar is, and it is certain that the FBI knows who Mokhtar is, as he was named in a 2004 federal investigation of a UK-based Al Qaeda website that raised money for the Taliban, among other terrorist organizations.

Crime Wave Engulfs New York City After Cops Are Murdered 30Dec, 2014 by John Hawki
The police in New York have their own ways of letting people know that they’re unhappy with how they’re being treated. They’ve very publicly asked Mayor Bill de Blasio not to attend their funerals, they’ve booed him and they’ve turned their backs. However,
It’s not a slowdown — it’s a virtual work stoppage. NYPD traffic tickets and summonses for minor offenses have dropped off by a staggering 94 percent following the execution of two cops — as officers feel betrayed by the mayor and fear for their safety, The Post has learned. The dramatic drop comes as Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and Mayor de Blasio plan to hold an emergency summit on Tuesday with the heads of the five police unions to try to close the widening rift between cops and the administration. The unprecedented meeting is being held at the new Police Academy in Queens at 2 p.m., sources said. Angry union leaders have ordered drastic measures for their members since the Dec. 20 assassination of two NYPD cops in a patrol car, including that two units respond to every call. It has helped contribute to a nose dive in low-level policing, with overall arrests down 66 percent for the week starting Dec. 22 compared with the same time period in 2013, stats show. Citations for traffic violations fell by 94 percent, from 10,069 to 587, during that time frame. Summonses for low-level offenses like public drinking and urination also plunged 94 percent — from 4,831 to 300. Even parking violations are way down, dropping by 92 percent, from 14,699 to 1,241. Drug arrests by cops assigned to the NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau — which are part of the overall number — dropped by 84 percent, from 382 to 63. The Post obtained the numbers hours after revealing that cops were turning a blind eye to some minor crimes and making arrests only “when they have to” since the execution-style shootings of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.
If this were some BS slowdown over a pay dispute or some other nonsense, the cops would deserve to be ripped up one side and down the other for it. On the other hand, when the Mayor is siding with protesters who are being allowed to block traffic, run wild through the city and publicly call for the murder of police officers before it happens, I don’t think what they’re doing is unreasonable. It’s not right to treat the police like they’re the bad guys AND expect them to protect you from the bad guys while people you’ve whipped up are trying to assassinate them. So even if you wouldn’t normally support this kind of thing, this is a much needed reality check and I won’t criticize it.
NBC Asks America for the Meaning of Christmas: 'Jesus' Didn't Make Their CutBy TimGraham| December 2014
NBC Nightly News offered two stories on Christmas in their December 25 newscast, including a show-ender about “what Christmas means to me.” Substitute anchor Tamron Hall offered this introduction: “Finally, on this special night, a question: What does Christmas mean to you? Maybe it’s the presents, the lights, the music, or getting together with family. We put the question to people around the country and discovered once against that Christmas means something a little different to everyone.”
Somehow, this perfectly pleasant three-minute segment included lot of talk about family time and presents, and even someone saying “Happy Hanukkah,” but included no one uttering the name “Jesus.” No one defined Christmas as about Christ, NBC? (Earlier, Ron Mott did find time for a corporate plug: "Christmas, of course, is a holiday for gathering, and that's exactly what thousands upon thousands of people are doing around our iconic Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza.") This car literally outlives its driver - being able to run on only 8 grams of fuel for 100 years.
By: Amanda Froelich, trueactivist.com
If you haven’t yet been amazed by the hybrid car that runson airor the water-powered engine, this vehicle is sure to make you think twice about the alternative forms of transportation which will one day rule the road.
The new Thorium car, created by a company called Laser Power Systems,
is completely emission-free, turbine-free, and is electricity
generated. It’s one of the new sustainable-powered engines to show just
how unnecessary modern day propulsion engines are and also offer an
exciting alternative.
Fueled by nuclear thorium lasers, this engine only needs
8 grams of fuels every 100 years. Charles Stevens, the CEO and chairman
of the Connecticut-based company, claims that one gram of thorium
yields the energy of 7,500 gallons of gasoline. Harnessed by heating
the energy from an external source, the energy becomes so dense the
molecules produce heat. A vehicle that needs refilling once a lifetime.

Obama sides with Islamic group over FBI The opposite direction of trying to stamp out terrorism'
WASHINGTON – Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., had a succinct analysis of the Obama administration’s latest diplomatic move and how it appeared to conflict with FBI’s own assessment.
“The president is going exactly in the opposite direction of trying to stamp out terrorism,” she told WND upon hearing why Obama administration officials had huddled earlier in the week with representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, and the Muslim American Society, or MAS. According to a statement on CAIR’s website, representatives from the two U.S.-based Islamic groups met with senior government officials on December 22, and pledged to work together to counter a decision by the United Arab Emirates, or UAE, on November 15, to put CAIR and MAS on its list of foreign terrorist groups. The UAE also outlawed the two organizations and declared CAIR and MAS to be front groups for the terrorist organization the Muslim Brotherhood. The FBI severed contacts with CAIR in 2009 as“not an appropriate liaison partner” for the bureau because of evidence linking the group and its founders to Hamas, which the U.S. lists as a terrorist organization. Hamas runs Gaza and was founded as an offshoot of the jihadist organization the Muslim Brotherhood, based in Egypt.

Heather Cagle was fired after she reportedly drove 11 students in her Honda Accord to go candy shopping.
An Oklahoma math teacher defied physics when she somehow managed to stuff 11 teenagers in her Honda Accord for a midday candy run. But the feat cost Heather Cagle, the veteran teacher, her job.
The incident occurred in October, when Cagle, a teacher at Wells Middle School, in Catoosa, a town east of Tulsa, wanted to do "something sweet" for kids working with her on the yearbook, The Tulsa World reported. So she filled her Honda Accord with 11 students ages 12 to 15.
The report said she placed two in the front seat, seven in the back and two girls in the trunk. The group traveled about a mile to Walmart where they bought items and returned to the school. The superintendent said in a statement that student safety is a priority and agreed with the board’s 4-1 decision Wednesday to terminate the math and yearbook instructor. The report points out that teachers must get parents' permission before leaving school property with a student. The attorney for Cagle, who had dozens of supporters at the hearing, called the decision to fire the teacher "cowardly" and said his client is an "exceptional teacher" who will land on her feet.
In this undated photo provided by the St. Louis County Police Department, Joshua Williams poses for a booking photo, in St. Louis, Mo. (AP)
BERKELEY, Mo. – A protester who advocated for peaceful demonstrations in Ferguson was charged Saturday with setting fire to a convenience store in a neighboring suburb. A St. Louis County jail official said Joshua Williams, 19, of St. Louis, was being held on $30,000 bond. He is charged with arson, second-degree burglary and stealing less than $500.
Williams, who was frequently quoted and photographed protesting Michael Brown's death, is accused of using lighter fluid to set multiple fires inside and outside a QuikTrip in Berkeley. Court records said Williams confessed in a videotaped interview, and that his actions were captured by surveillance video and by news media.
The QuikTrip was looted after a white Berkeley police officer shot and killed Antonio Martin, a black 18-year-old, late Tuesday at a nearby gas station. Separate surveillance footage appeared to show that before the shooting, Martin pulled a gun on the unidentified 34-year-old officer. St. Louis County police spokesman Shawn McGuire said it wasn't immediately known if Williams had an attorney. Williams didn't immediately return a phone message. Williams has been arrested at least twice during Ferguson-related protests for unlawful assembly as well as refusal to disperse. An MSNBC profile of Williams in September quoted him as saying, "We have to come together as one and show them we can be peaceful, that we can do this. If not, they're going to just want us to act up so they can pull out their toys on us again." During a Ferguson Commission meeting earlier this month, Williams said black people should be able to walk into stores without being followed around like thieves. "When the police go out there in their uniforms, they don't see nothing but thugs," he said. "All they see is targets in the streets."

North Korea Insults Obama, Blames U.S. For Internet Outages Dec. 27, 2014: NBC News
North Korea blamed its recent Internet outage on the United States on Saturday and hurled racially charged insults at President Barack Obama over the hacking row involving the movie "The Interview."
North Korea's powerful National Defense Commission, which is headed by country leader Kim Jong Un and is the nation's top governing body, said Obama was behind the release of the comedy that depicts Kim's assassination. The commission described the movie as illegal, dishonest and reactionary.
"Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest," an unidentified spokesman at the commission's Policy Department said in a statement carried by the country's official Korean Central News Agency.
The White House's National Security Council declined to comment Saturday.
North Korea has denied involvement in a crippling cyberattack on Sony Pictures but has expressed fury over the comedy. Sony Pictures initially called off the release of the film, citing threats of terror attacks against U.S. movie theaters. Obama criticized Sony's decision, and the movie opened this past week.
It wasn't the first time North Korea has used crude insults against Obama and other top U.S. and South Korean officials. Earlier this year, North Korea called U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry a wolf with a "hideous" lantern jaw and South Korean President Park Geun-hye a prostitute. In May, the North's official news agency published a dispatch saying Obama has the "shape of a monkey."KCNA/Reuters READ MORE
Police Outside Cop Funeral Turn Backs on NYC Mayor
Saturday, Dec 27, 2014
Hundreds of officers outside the church where a funeral was held for a policeman killed along with his partner in an ambush shooting turned their backs on the mayor as he spoke during Saturday's service.
The reaction from officers watching Officer Rafael Ramos' funeral on giant TV screens followed comments from police union officials who had said Mayor Bill de Blasio contributed to a climate of mistrust that contributed to the killings of the two NYPD officers.
In response to the back-turning incident, de Blasio deputy press secretary Wiley Norvell said in a statement: "The Ramos and Liu families, our police department and our city are dealing with an unconscionable tragedy. Our sole focus is unifying this city and honoring the lives of our two police officers."
Anti-Cop Suspect Says Dead Cops 'Should Have Been White'
New details have emerged about one of the threats that was made against
New York police officers in the wake of the fatal shooting that left two
cops dead in New York last weekend.
Elvin Payamps, 38, was arrested Wednesday after someone overheard him
making threats on a cell phone, saying that he wanted to kill an officer
before Christmas, authorities said.
The witness heard Payamps make those statements at 1:38 p.m. Cops tracked down Payamps about an hour later, authorities said.
The witness told police he heard Payamps say, "The cop should have been white that was killed. I always have a gun on me."
The victims Payamps is believed to have referred to were Rafael Ramos
and Wenjian Liu, the Hispanic and Asian officers, respectively, who were
fatally shot in an ambush of their patrol vehicle on Saturday afternoon
in Brooklyn by a man who shot himself minutes later on a subway
platform.
The police officer found Payamps an hour after the threat and noticed
him sitting in a blue BMW in Queens with windows that were tinted much
darker than the legal limit allows, authorities said.
Upon questioning, the officer determined that Payamps had marijuana in his car, police said, and a later search of his home found a set of brass knuckles, two guns and two body vests.
Payamps later admitted to the officer that he did say that if last
weekend's attacker "wanted to send a message" that he "should have
killed two white cops instead" of minorities, according to the criminal
complaint. Payamps has been charged with gun possession.
This is one of at least six arrests that have been made over the past
week in connection to threats made against police officers in the wake
of the Dec. 20 attack.
Eric Garner’s daughter posts address of cop at his death Published December 26, 2014
New threats emerge as slain NYPD officer is remembered
One of Eric Garner’s daughters marked Christmas Day by
spreading personal information about an NYPD cop who was present during
the chokehold death of her father — outraging officers still reeling
from last weekend’s execution-style slayings of two policemen in
Brooklyn. Erica Garner tweeted that cop Justin D’Amico was “another officer
that helped killed [sic] my dad,” and directed her 5,000-plus Twitter
followers to a Web page that lists addresses for D’Amico and five
possible relatives. The information was viewed about 500 times before Garner’s stunning tweet was deleted following inquiries by The Post. The move came less than a week after a gunman fatally shot cops
Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, following the shooter’s online post that
said he planned to avenge the police killings of Eric Garner on Staten
Island and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. It also came as cops were on high alert over dozens of copy-cat
threats this week that have led to more than a half-dozen arrests. An NYPD source said Erica Garner’s “disgusting” tweet “poses grave danger” to D’Amico. “She clearly wants someone to go to the officer’s house and
assassinate him in cold blood just like Ramos and Liu,” the source said.

A group of retired and current
NYPD officers say they flew a banner along the Hudson River Friday that said "de Blasio, our backs have turned to you" in protest of the mayor's policies toward the department.
The small banner, which traveled up and down the Hudson River Friday morning, was paid for by officers upset over what they called "the mayor’s incendiary rhetoric, and for facilitating the current hostile climate towards the NYPD."
The plane made several passes between Battery Park and the George Washington Bridge at about 9 a.m.

4-Year-Old Pre-Schooler Handcuffed, Shackled and Transported to Police Station
The Rutherford Institute has come to the aid of a four-year-old Virginia student who, after allegedly acting up in class, was turned over to police, who handcuffed and shackled the preschooler and transported him to the sheriff’s office. While at the sheriff’s office, the police forced C.B., the four-year-old, to speak with prison inmates in an apparent attempt to “scare straight” the preschooler. The child was left in handcuffs or shackles for about 20 minutes. Pointing out that handcuffing and shackling a four-year-old is excessive, unwarranted, and unnecessarily traumatizing, attorneys for The Rutherford Institute have asked that public school officials take steps to assure the child’s family and the rest of the community of parents and concerned citizens that what happened to C.B. will not happen again to him or other students of similar age. Specifically, Institute attorneys have asked that protocols be established to guide school personnel and allow them to deal more appropriately with students who are acting up or have become upset, preventing such incidents from escalating to the point where use of law enforcement is considered an option.

Harvard Professor: 90 seconds you won't regret watching
There’s been a loud outcry from some to let prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) go free. Starting with President George W. Bush and continuing under President Obama, hundreds of Gitmo prisoners have been released in response.
Judicial Watch reveals something the public has not been told about the program: at least one previously released prisoner is now being sought by the U.S. – with a hefty reward attached.
The U.S. State Department is offering $5 million for information on the whereabouts of Ibrahim al-Rubaysh, a Saudi national. TheState Departmentwebsite notes al-Rubaysh’s terrorist designation:
Ibrahim al-Rubaysh is a senior leader of AQAP, a designated FTO and Specially Designated Global entity. He serves as a senior advisor for AQAP operational planning and is involved in the planning of attacks. He has served as a senior AQAP sharia official since 2013, and as a senior AQAP sharia official, al-Rubaysh provides the justification for attacks conducted by AQAP. In addition, he has made public statements, including one in August 2014 where he called on Muslims to wage war against the United States. In addition, since October 14, 2014, Ibrahim al-Rubaysh has been subject to a five million dollar Reward for Justice.
A 2012 report from NPRstates that approximately 28 percent of released Gitmo detainees have either returned to terrorism or are suspected to have done so.
Anyone interested in cashing in on the reward may want to start their search in Yemen. NBC News reports that following his 2006 transfer from Gitmo to Saudi Arabia, al-Rubaysh “escaped to Yemen.”
