A Missouri man charged with killing three people had already been charged with killing two others but was acquitted after police were unable to find one of the bodies.
Police have arrested 34-year-old Brandon Howell and have charged him with three counts of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, burglary, stealing a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, and four counts of armed criminal action.
Howell is accused of going house to house in a small neighborhood in Kansas City, killing three people, and wounding two others after a botched auto theft.
Howell allegedly killed 88-year-old Lorene Hurst, 69-year-old Susan Choucroun, and 63-year-old Darrel Hurst. Two other victims, George and Anna Taylor, were injured and are reportedly in a local hospital “fighting for their lives.”
All of the victims were found at separate homes.
