Once again, the press refuses to report accurately on what President Trump is doing. Read the executive order on protecting the nation from foreign terrorists for yourself. It is attached.

What does it say:  mobile.nytimes.com(1) The refugee program is being suspended across the board, but only for 120 days. The reason is to allow the government to review the background check process and to find ways to improve it.
(2) The government is to review what information is needed to vet more fully all visa applicants. It is expected that the review will take 90 days. Then, if a country will not supply the information necessary, visas will be suspended for people from that country.
(3) During the review period, visas will be suspended for aliens from countries the State Department has already determined are sponsors of terrorism.
So, far from being action aimed at Muslims, it is an action aimed at terrorism. The countries on the suspended list are not determined by the President, but by the State Department under existing law. Therefore, cries of a conflict of interest on Trump's part are just bogus.
These are nothing but limited and reasonable steps to try to build a better system aimed at preventing terrorists from manipulating our immigration law. As an immigration lawyer, I have to say I have no issue with any of it. My issue is with the biased reporting aimed at getting as many of you emotionally charged as possible.
