REPORT: DOJ Opening New Investigation Into Comey, McCabe, and Strzok Posted February 16, 2020 Tyler Worley washingtonexaminer,
After the Justice Department decided to not pursue charges against former deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe for leaking to the media and lying about it, speculation has grown as to whether or not the DOJ threw out his case in pursuit of a bigger case. This case is rumored to be against top officials like James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok regarding the Trump-Russia investigation.
The Inspector General has claimed McCabe “lacked candor” on multiple occasions, including when he was questioned by Mueller, FBI agents, and when he talked to James Comey.
During an appearance on MSNBC, Robert Mueller’s ‘top prosecutor’ Andrew Weissmann spilled the beans on what is coming next for the DOJ:
“All they did was swapped out a loser case for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok.”
This comment confirms that the DOJ has bigger fish to fry, and Comey should be very afraid. The deep state knows that they're in trouble, and Trump is about to come for them in a big way.
This theory from Weissmann comes in response to a move made by AG Barr last week, where he picked Jeffrey Jensen, an outside prosecutor in St. Louis to work on the Flynn case on Monday.
