“CNN anchor Don Lemon, The New York Times’ Wajahat Ali and winless carnival barker and scam PAC artist Rick Wilson let everyday Americans know what the establishment thinks about them: President Trump’s supporters are just a bunch of illiterate idiots deserving of the elites’ smug derision,” RNC Spokesman Steve Guest told The Daily Wire in a statement. “In a matter of seconds, CNN summed up the elite left’s disdain for half of America.”

Guest added, “Reminder for voters: As Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders campaign across the South for your vote, Lemon, Ali, and Wilson just summarized what these candidates really think of you as they shake your hand and pose for selfies.”

In an email to voters, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said that she was “absolutely disgusted” by the segment, which was viewed well over ten million times on Twitter in under 24 hours.

“The other night on CNN, Don Lemon and his liberal friends laid their cards on the table and made it obvious what ELITES think of everyday Americans who support President Trump,” McDaniel said in the fundraising email. “These radical hacks painted conservative voters as illiterate hillbillies on national television because they DESPISE President Trump and they DESPISE you.”

The inclusion of Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” was a no-brainer, but the RNC did a good job of finding more recent examples from this year’s field, too. Both Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden call Trump supporters racists, while on the competing progressive network, Chris Matthews also suggests they’re idiots. The RNC isn’t exaggerating this point; if anything they might be understating it.

Get ready for more iterations on this theme, because these claims will only get more and more prevalent as we get closer to November. The Democratic convention in July will likely have their video editors busy for weeks cutting new versions of this ad. By that time, the fact that both Democrats and the media haven’t learned that calling people idiots and racists isn’t an effective selling point will be revealing enough about the true issues of mental capacity in this market.

Lev Parnas, who has been federally indicted for fraud, is being held up as a legitimate witness this week by Democrats on Capitol Hill desperately trying to impeach President Trump. Why? White House seeks to block publication of Bolton's book, demands classified info be removed first

In a letter to former national security adviser John Bolton's attorney, the White House said Bolton's upcoming book contains classified information that must be removed before it can be published.

                        The letter to Bolton lawyer Charles Cooper dated Jan. 23, a National Security Council aide wrote, "Based on our preliminary review, the manuscript appears to contain significant amounts of classified information. It also appears that some of this classified information is at the top secret level."

"The manuscript may not be published or otherwise disclosed without the deletion of this classified information," added Ellen Knight, NSC senior director for records, access, and information security management.

That letter was written days before The New York Times reported that according to a manuscript of Bolton's book, President Donald Trump told Bolton in August that nearly $400 million in aid to Ukraine would not be released until the country provided all of the information it had in connection to the investigations of Democrats the president sought. The manuscript has not been seen by NBC News.

That reported conversation between the two men contradicts the president's impeachment defense, as Trump and allies have said the hold on military aid and investigations were not linked. Trump said he "NEVER" had such a conversation with Bolton.

Cooper had submitted Bolton's manuscript to the NSC last month for a routine security review "notwithstanding our firm belief that the manuscript contained no information that could reasonably be considered classified."

The release of the White House response, obtained by NBC News, comes as Trump is publicly bashing Bolton over his reported claims. Earlier Wednesday, Trump asked: "Why didn't John Bolton complain about this 'nonsense' a long time ago, when he was very publicly terminated."

Calls for Bolton's testimony in Trump's impeachment trial have ratcheted up since The Times reported on the manuscript.

Instead, Obama is eyeing intervening in the Democratic primary by speaking out against Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-V.T. According to Fox Business, insiders close to Obama say that he’s anxious about the progressive candidate’s growing popularity.

Obama doesn’t like the direction Sanders wants to turn the Democratic Party. And those close to the former president say that he doesn’t think Sanders is fit to be president… nor does he even think that Sanders would beat President Donald Trump.

Why are the citizens revolting?

“We are fed up with rising crime,” the notice for the meeting says. “There has been a rash of increasing violent crime in our area that must stop. We are afraid to leave our homes and walk outside.”

“Thanks to our Police many of the major assailants have been caught and charged. However, as our police continue to arrest criminals, our District Attorney, Larry Krasner, let’s them go! This pattern of putting criminals back on the street is putting our lies in grave danger . . . We aren’t going to take it anymore. We are fighting back. This is OUR neighborhood and OUR city. We need the people at the top to follow the oath they took not enact their own personal agendas!!!”

“People are scared to death, they’re scared to walk out of their house. There have been robberies galore,” she said. “It’s just been out of control.”

One of the most recent murders, she said, was committed by a killer that Krasner previously let out of jail. A missing local woman was also found murdered in the basement of a suspicious home where human trafficking may have been going on.

But in a city where the D.A. has basically legalized prostitution, as well as drug use and drug sales, along with retail theft, crime is thriving, thanks to “Uncle Larry,” the D.A. who’s a criminal’s best friend.

“We have a mayor who doesn’t care either,” Della Barba said. “He was just in New Hampshire campaigning while the city is burning,” agreed podcast host John Snedden, a former NCIS special agent.

“You take an oath to protect our city, you should be down here,” Della Barba said. “The only thing the mayor does for us is raise our taxes.”

MSNBC Concludes That Democrats FAILED To Prove Trump Did Anything Wrong And Liberals Can’t Handle It

This is pretty great. Ari Melber actually told the MSNBC panel and their audience that the Democrats did not prove their case that Trump committed obstruction of Congress, and everyone flipped out.

MSNBC’s Melber: Dems Have Failed To “Land” Their Case, “I Haven’t Seen…Enough Evidence”

Here’s what he said:

“What the Democrats are arguing is that, basically, something that began three months before they actually voted to impeach should now be resolved by the removal of the president,” he added after being pushed by other panelists. “In every other case, including Nixon, we know the rule has been the president is allowed to fight within the law, is allowed to deny, and, yes, quote, defy, all the way up until the Supreme Court, which takes often more than a year.”

Melber concluded, “So is there enough evidence to support the immediate removal of a president, three months and you’re gone as a precedent, I haven’t seen them land that.”

Yeah, they didn’t like that one bit. Chris Matthews didn’t even address what he said, but rambled on about Trump being a tyrant and George Washington or something.

Romney Says He’s ‘Very Likely’ to Join Democrats on Call For New Impeachment Witnesses

Senator Mitt Romney has revealed he’d be in favor of new witnesses being called to testify in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

Romney’s decision comes just prior to controversy over anonymous sources relaying information on a book manuscript by former National Security Advisor John Bolton to the New York Times.

The Times indicates that the manuscript accuses President Trump of withholding military aid to Ukraine until Joe Biden and his son Hunter were properly investigated.

Romney, however, was wavering already and suggesting he’d side with Democrats before the Times published that report.

“I think it’s very likely I’ll be in favor of witnesses, but I haven’t made a decision finally yet and I won’t until the testimony is completed,” the former presidential candidate said on Saturday.

If Romney was in favor of teaming up with Democrats before the Bolton report, he’ll most assuredly be demanding witnesses now.

On Friday, the House Democratic impeachment managers wrapped their case after 22 hours of “mind-numbing repetition,” in the words of Jonathan Turley.

On Saturday, the Trump defense lawyers preceded to rip it to shreds in a couple of hours and they’re only just starting.

Apparently House Intel Chair Adam Schiff, the lead House impeachment manager, is upset that now the defense gets to respond and actually call out his falsehoods and mischaracterizations.

According to Fox’s Chad Pergram, Schiff said, “At this point, the president’s team will have the last word. They can mischaracterize what we say or..mischaracterize witness testimony..we hope to have the opportunity to respond and rebut.”

Now, that’s hysterically funny given all his “mischaracterizations.”

He’s upset that they actually played his “parody,” when he lied about the Ukraine call during a hearing in the House. That apparently is a “mischaracterization,” to play his own words. He’s upset that they also presented the facts that completely blew apart his case.

He’s not going to fare well if he’s freaking out after the first two hours.

Among all the witnesses considered in the Senate impeachment trial, Sen. Mitt Romney, and a number moderate Republicans, are eager to hear from former national security adviser John Bolton.

The development comes after portions from Bolton's upcoming book The Room Where It Happened leaked, specifically excerpts where Bolton claims that President Trump did withhold military aid from Ukraine, hoping to pressure President Zelensky to investigate the Bidens.

Having read the report, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) believes that the jurors should be given the chance to hear from Bolton himself. A few of his colleagues followed, including Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who released a statement sounding more confident than ever that she'll vote in favor of hearing more witnesses. Other moderates are still on the fence. The Senate will have a chance to vote follow the White House defense team's opening arguments and a 16-hour round of questions on each side.

Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), who in January took over the Senate seat left vacant by retiring Sen. Johnny Isakson, directly tagged Romney on Twitter and accused him of "appeasing the left" and acting for the cameras.

Before she was sworn in to the Senate, President Trump shared his concerns about Loeffler and reportedly wanted Rep. Doug Collins to fill the vacant seat instead. Yet, Loeffler has been squarely on the president's side during the trial, telling the Democrats last week that they already lost their case in the House.

Other Republican senators interested in hearing Bolton's testimony include Sens. Susan Collins (ME), Lisa Murkowski (AK), and possibly Ron Johnson (WI).

Johnson, a Tea Party favorite from the 2010 cycle, said that he guesses Bolton is telling the truth but called the leak "exquisite timing." He has not responded to follow-up questions if Bolton should be subpoenaed.

Democratic House impeachment manager Rep. Zoe Lofgren admitted Sunday that the impeachment sham is all about the 2020 election.

In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday, Rep. Lofgren was asked why the Democrats rushed into impeachment rather than fighting the subpoenas in court.
Thegatewaypundit.com reports: Trump’s Deputy Counsel Patrick Philbin said on Saturday that the House Judiciary Committee must receive approval from the full House before proceeding with impeachment.

Philbin argued that since Pelosi directed various committees to begin impeachment proceedings with a press conference rather than a full House vote, the subpoenas sent to Trump officials were invalid.

The Democrats never even went to the courts to enforce subpoenas, instead, they made up a fake crime “Obstruction of Congress” and launched their shampeachment hearings.

The reason for this is because they want to blunt Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign or keep him off the ballot and Rep. Lofgren openly admitted that on Sunday.

“If we waited for three or four years, the election would be over and the issue would be almost moot,” Rep. Lofgren said.

On Wednesday Adam Schiff lectured America and said your vote doesn’t count because the ballot box cannot be trusted.

Your vote doesn’t count if you choose Trump.

“The President’s misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box, for we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won,” Schiff said.
