Democrats opt for blackmail over small-business money — and the media covers for them April 9th 2020
What a deal for Democrats: They get to hold the economy for ransom, and the media blithely cover for them.
On Thursday, Senate Democrats nixed a simple but urgent request to boost cash in the emergency small business loan program Congress set up this month from $350 billion to $600 billion.
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin requested the cash because funds are running low, just weeks after the program launched.
Rather than comply, Democrats issued demands: They insisted the new money include $60 billion for “community-based lenders” that serve minorities, women, nonprofits and other groups. And the bill also had to OK an immediate $250 billion for cities, states, hospitals, food stamps and other needs.

Bloomberg stated, “You would prefer not to have weapons. In the event that you have a weapon in your home you’re something like multiple times as prone to get killed with a firearm.”
He included, “There’s aggressive behavior at home, there’s kids playing, there’s mishaps.”
Bloomberg didn’t give any substantiation of his case that owning a firearm makes somebody “multiple times as liable to get killed with a weapon.”
Nor did he notice Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health study that found no “reasonable relationship between gun limitations for local abusers and diminished lethal mass shootings,” a point which is appropriate considering Bloomberg’s relationship of firearm proprietorship and household misuse.
In spite of the fact that Bloomberg recommends Americans should not have weapons in their homes, Breitbart News announced that he carries on with his life encompassed all day, every day by equipped watchmen, along these lines relying upon heroes with firearms to protect him.

Declassified footnotes to a Justice Department inspector general report show that the Federal Bureau of Investigation team investigating members of the Trump campaign received classified reports in 2017 identifying key pieces of the Steele dossier as products of a Russian disinformation campaign. This might be only the tip of the iceberg because other recently declassified information demonstrates that even more disinformation may have been planted in Christopher Steele’s reporting.
Let that sink in. The FBI knew that at least some of its evidence against the Trump campaign, and maybe more, was likely part of a Russian disinformation campaign—evidence from a source that was “central and essential” for getting the first FISA warrant. It isn’t clear what if anything the FBI did to determine whether their investigation was based in substantial part on Russian disinformation.Yet the FBI assistant director in charge of the investigation, Bill Priestap, told the inspector general that as of May 2017 (when Robert Mueller took over as special counsel), the FBI “didn’t have any indication whatsoever” that their evidence was part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
I first learned all this in late December 2019, when a member of my staff reviewed the classified version of the inspector general’s report and asked me to meet him in a secure room under the Capitol. As he walked me through the four footnotes, my immediate reaction was that the American people needed to know this information as soon as possible. My colleague Sen. Chuck Grassley and I began pressing Attorney General William Barr, and eventually acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, for full declassification of these footnotes. That’s why they’re now public.

Smithfield Farms, the largest pork producing farm in the USA was sold recently to China with the unanimous support of its stockholders!! The hogs will still be raised here, but slaughtered and packaged for sale there before being sent back here. This includes labels of Morrell, Eckrich, Krakus, Cudahy, Premium Hams, Cook's, Gwaltney, The same with many chickens. They can now be shipped there, but when they come back all that needs to be labeled is that they WERE RAISED IN THE USA. Not that they were processed in China!!! Our great FDA at work again. The chickens will be all processed and most sold to fast food restaurants for sandwiches, along with schools and supermarkets. The China slaughter and processing are not nearly equal to the requirements here.

Recently a Food inspector on TV... said he had lived overseas and he had seen the filthy conditions their foods are raised and processed in. It is enough to make you throw up. Some foreign workers have to wear masks as they work in these places, because the food is so rotten and filthy, it makes them want to throw up. Many of their fish on Fish Farms are fed raw sewage daily. He said he has seen so much filth throughout their food growing and processing that he would "never" eat any of it. They raise this filth, put some food coloring and some flavorings on it, then they ship it to the USA & Canada for YOU to consume and feed to YOUR families. They have no Food & Safety Inspectors. They ship it to you to buy and poison your families and friends .
Imported food we eat and the junk we buy: Green Giant frozen vegetables are from China, and so are most of Europe 's Best.
Arctic Gardens are Okay. So is Birdseye.
Never buy the grocery store garlic unless it is clearly marked from USA or Canada, the other stuff is grown in people poop (even worse than chicken droppings). China is the largest producer of garlic in the world; U. S. is next.
Buy only local honey *, much honey is shipped in huge containers from China and re-packed here.

Nixon’s historic visit to China in 1972 was declared “a geopolitical earthquake” that ignited the eventual opening of world markets to China and ultimately unleashed China’s growth as an economic and military hegemony. Yet by the time of Nixon’s death in 1994, it was becoming apparent that the once nascent Middle Kingdom was morphing into the Sino monster—outpacing and terrorizing its American enabler.
In Mary Shelley’s gothic classic, “Frankenstein,” a scientist concocts a mysterious creature who menaces his master inventor at every turn. Rules, decorum and the moral code are ignored by Frankenstein’s fiendish manufactured lab being. Once unleashed, the monster kills with abandon and impunity. He roams the countryside, exploiting victims and the vulnerable, always cleverly avoiding any consequences.

He feared that this virulent Communist government would exploit its own people and the world by ruling without any semblance of equitable global governance. There's been a *lot* of nonsense going around online around Chinese wet markets these days, so we wanted to make a quick digression from our normal video and address the issue. This is a normal, every day wet market in China. No click-bait, no shock video, just a real, normal wet market.

China’s propagandists have made their way into President Donald Trump’s press conferences on the Chinese coronavirus.
Last night after being asked a question by a Hong Kong Phoenix TV reporter, Trump questioned who she worked for, and if they were owned by the Chinese government. She denied that she worked for China, and said that the company was privately owned.
And she’s “technically” correct. The company is private…. but shares the Chinese government as an investor.
As the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross explains: While Phoenix TV is not wholly owned by the Chinese government, its content is widely considered to be sympathetic to Beijing.
The Hoover Institution regards it as a “quasi-official” news outlet with links to the Chinese government’s ministry of state security.
Freedom House, a pro-democracy think tank, said in a 2017 report that Phoenix TV is owned by a former Chinese military officer with close ties to Beijing officials. “Phoenix TV’s coverage is typically favorable to the CCP [Chinese Communist Party],” the report says. “Moreover, over the past two years, it has been used as an outlet for airing televised confessions by various detained CCP critics, most notably all five Hong Kong booksellers abducted by Chinese security forces in late 2015.”
As for their ownership breakdown, founding chairman Liu Changle, a “former People’s Libertarian Army propaganda official who is close to senior Chinese government leaders,” owns 37.1% of the shares. Another 20% of the network is owned by Extra Step Investments Limited, which is owned by China Mobile Hong Kong, which is owned by China mobile…. which is owned by (you guessed it) the Chinese government.
In other words, while the Chinese government themselves technically don’t solely have majority control of the network, it is majority owned by those holding their interests.

We Need a 9/11-Like Coronavirus Commission – Appointed By Trump By Peter Roff April 9 2020
Although the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) represents a different kind of threat and is not yet resolved, lessons can be extracted so that the impact of future pandemics is lessened.
A commission based on interviews, testimony, and objective truths would be helpful. But one that’s appointed by President Trump – which sounds very different than what congressional Democrats like California Rep. Adam Schiff have in mind.

Well, Schiff’s back—and with a vengeance. In the middle of the effort to combat the most serious crisis facing the United States since the near-collapse of the financial sector at the end of the George W. Bush administration, he is pushing to establish a coronavirus commission modeled on what followed the 9/11 attacks to study how the country got where it is now.
Usually, one waits until a conflict is resolved before engaging in an in-depth examination of its cause. What Schiff wants is another opportunity to stick it to Trump, plain and simple. In his mind, he’s the avenger, looking out for the interests of the common man against a potentate laying waste to this great country.
He is right on one point, however. There should be a commission, ideally appointed by the president, that looks at all aspects of the COVID-19 crisis with special concentration on the way federal and state governments failed the citizens who put them in office.
Such a commission, if it were bipartisan and composed of heavyweights from the fields of medicine, government and industry, could do a lot to help us understand how and why things got as far as they did. A panel led by the likes of former Vice President Dick Cheney or former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for the Republicans and former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta or former Governor Jerry Brown for the Democrats would immediately command the public’s respect. They’ve demonstrated at one time or another that they’re not afraid to ask hard questions and follow the truth where it leads. More important, they would not shy away from making tough recommendations regarding future economic, health and national security needs—even if they might upset the institutions and political allies that once gave them their considerable power.
This is the leader of the DEMOCRAT controlled "House of Representatives, the "Speaker Of The House"....You see how much SHE cares about YOU..! With her, it is NOT about money, she is a millionaire....It's all about POWER. As long as she gets HER way !

They are obstructing for the sake of their radical agenda yet again.
Congressional Democrats have blocked Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s efforts to get unanimous consent to pass the next round of coronavirus aid for America’s small business owners. (CNBC)
Senate Republicans hoped to pass a bill Thursday to put $250 billion more into a loan program for small businesses devastated by the coronavirus pandemic. With lawmakers out of Washington, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tried to move the measure by unanimous consent, meaning any one senator had the power to block it.
On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer asked for the bill to include $250 billion for hospitals, health care systems, state and local governments and food assistance program, on top of money for small companies. However, Pelosi said she only wanted $125 billion for the existing program specifically, and another $125 billion for community-based lenders and Small Business Administration disaster assistance loans and grants.

Cuomo explains quite well why doctors are refusing to give official formal declarations about hydroxychloroquine’s effectiveness, and simply put the data set is too small because they’ve only had results from about two weeks of cases. Cuomo explains that doctors would like a significantly larger dataset which would span a much longer period of time before making formal statements about the drug, and they will have that at some point.
That said Cuomo makes clear that the drug, when paired with Azithromycin, is yielding positive results and that’s why they are going forward with it:
There has been anecdotal evidence that it is promising. That’s why we’re going ahead. Doctors, of course, have to prescribe it…but anecdotally it’s been positive.
Cuomo said that thus far they’ve had a 14-day restriction on how much hydroxychloroquine can be prescribed at one time, but they will be able to lift that restriction once the federal government sends them more from their 29 million dose stockpile.

There has been anecdotal evidence that it is promising. That’s why we’re going ahead. Doctors, of course, have to prescribe it…but anecdotally it’s been positive.
Cuomo said that thus far they’ve had a 14-day restriction on how much hydroxychloroquine can be prescribed at one time, but they will be able to lift that restriction once the federal government sends them more from their 29 million dose stockpile.

Did the framers of the Constitution fail to add an 11th Amendment to the Bill of Rights saying, “oh by the way, none of this counts if we get sick”? Of course not! Those who wrote our Constitution understood that these rights are not granted by the government, but rather by our Creator. Thus it was never a question as to when or under what conditions they could be suspended: the government had no authority to suspend them at all because it did not grant them in the first place.
Our country is far less at risk from the coronavirus than it is from the thousands of small and large authoritarians who have suddenly flexed their muscles across the country. President Trump would do well to end this ridiculous shutdown so that Americans can get on with their lives and get back to work.
Americans should remember the tyrants who locked them down next time they go to the ballot box. Let’s demand an end to the shutdown so we can resurrect our economy, our lives, and our liberties! '

That’s the headline across a HuffPost story that goes on to claim that “President Donald Trump reportedly owns a stake in a company that produces hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug he has repeatedly touted as a coronavirus treatment even though his experts say there’s no strong evidence it works.”
Verdict: False.
The report cited by the HuffPost is from a New York Times story that said: “Trump himself has a small personal financial interest in Sanofi, the French drugmaker that makes Plaquenil, the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine.”

D'alessandros' handler Benjamin Magliano was described by the FBI as one of Baltimore’s “top hoodlums,” and he was widely acknowledged to represent New York’s Frankie Carbo, an asassin for 'Murder Inc." and a 'made man' in the Lucchese Crime family, although Magliano also had ties to the Gambinos'.
In 1961 JFK requested / demanded that D’Alesandro’s involvement with Baltimore Organized crime be investigated he ordered an investigation of "Allegation of D’Alesandro’s involvement with Baltimore hoodlums”. I suspect it was not out of any great sense of civic responsibility on the part of JFK, but beacuse he wanted to appoint D'alessandro to the US Renegotiation Board and needed to clear any lurking skeletons that could be unearthed beforehand. JFK himself was nurtured by an Irish Gangster - Joe Kennedy, and was no stranger to corruption and under-handed shennanigans. “D’Alesandro’s involvement with Baltimore hoodlums; with favoritism in awarding city contracts; [and] protection for political contributors and the prosecution of local cases” warrant investigation, Kennedy wrote to J. Edgar Hoover in 1961.
The 'investigation" was largely superficial and yielded no indictments, as is still the case with Democrat Party malfeance to this day. It did however cooroborate the connection between D'alessandro and Local La Cosa Nostra. He was Baltimores mayor when Jim Crow reigned supreme and used racial segregation tensions in the city of Baltimore skillfully to his advantage. D’Alensandro’s tenure as Mayor of Baltimore saw most of its African-American residents herded into rat and roach infested slums. African Americans for the most part are blinded to the Pelosi legacy, just as they are to most High ranking Democrats lineage from the Plantation masters in one degree or another

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, Democrat, had a kneejerk reaction to President Trump's optimism about a malaria drug that might be an effective treatment for the Wuhan coronavirus. Trump was hopeful about the drug, so anti-Trump Democrats like Sisolak were against it. Gov. Sisolak banned (hydroxy)chloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19, ostensibly over concern of hoarders stockpiling the medicine and causing shortages for patients who use the drug for other ailments like Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. But while the governor restricted the public from receiving the potentially life-saving drug, Nevada's Department of Corrections began stockpiling the drug for prisoners.
Despite overwhelming evidence suggesting the use of (hydroxy)chloroquine may be an effective treatment for COVID19 patients, the Nevada governor banned the drug & then started stockpiling it.
This guy has some serious explaining to do - if average citizens aren't allowed to get the treatment, why is his state now
