Readers will likely recall the nasty fight put up by the Left and their Garbage Party lackeys in the fall of 2018 after the president nominated Kavanaugh, who was being promoted from what many have dubbed the “junior Supreme Court.”
“The D.C. Circuit is considered the second-highest court in the land, and barring a Supreme Court vacancy, this will be the biggest judicial fight this year,” Mike Davis, the founder of Article III, told CNBC.
In a blatantly biased report, CNBC noted:
The fight over Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation included millions of dollars of outside money spent either for or against the controversial judge.
Walker, who could fill his old seat, was confirmed in 2019 to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, after the American Bar Association deemed him “not qualified” for the position.
That rating, on top of the fact that most Democrats have opposed many of the president’s nominations, has conservative outside groups, such as the Judicial Crisis Network and the Article III Project, preparing for an all-out war in defense of Walker, according to people with direct knowledge of matter.
First of all, there was nothing ‘controversial’ about Kavanaugh that wasn’t manufactured by unhinged Leftists and Trump-deranged Democrats. The narrative that he was a serial sexual abuser and a rapist was not only untrue, but the lies were legally actionable, as evidenced by the fact that Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) made a number of criminal referrals to the Justice Department involving the phony “witnesses” (why these cases have not been pursued is a great question for AG William Barr, by the way).
Secondly, the American Bar Association is run by committed judicial activists and Leftist sycophants who make it a habit of deeming conservative constitutionalist lawyers and judges “not qualified.”
So, about the only thing that is valid in this CNBC story is the political battle royale ahead:
