Friend, I wanted to take a few minutes today to tell you a little bit about myself, my life story, and what's never going to change. My Upbringing I was raised in Zachary, Louisiana where I was taught the values I live by today by my mother and father. Those same values that I fight for each and every single day to protect. Values like hard work, dedication, and putting God and family first in everything. After high school, I attended Vanderbilt University, graduated, and then went on to receive my law degree at the University of Virginia. I tell you that so you know that I know a little more about law than the average pink-haired woker would like you to believe. So, what'd I do after college? I was elected to five terms as State Treasurer where I managed the state's $10.6 billion investment portfolios. I also oversaw local and state bond issues and returned millions of dollars in unclaimed property each year. Before I was Treasurer, I served as Secretary of the Department of Revenue, Special Counsel to Governor Roemer, and Secretary of Governor Roemer's Cabinet. Then, I got my biggest call. The call to help the people of Louisiana and America. Time as U.S. Senator of Louisiana I was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016 after being endorsed by none other than President Donald J. Trump. I serve on the Appropriations, Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, Budget, Judiciary, and Small Business and Entrepreneurship committees in the U.S. Senate. I serve as the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Energy and Water Development for the Appropriations Committee, the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Federal Courts for the Judiciary Committee, and the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Economic Policy for the Banking Committee. Every day for me is a new challenge, another day to serve the people of Louisiana, and another day to fight for our conservative values. You see, I'm always going to be 100% PRO-LIFE, PRO-GUN, and PRO-FREEDOM. That's not going to change regardless of what the Neo-Socialist Left throws at me and you can write that down and take it home to mama. I'm going to fight for your rights, your freedoms, and for a better future for our children. That won't change, I'd rather drink weedkiller than let the Socialist Left Agenda poison this country that we know and love so much. So, now that I've given you my story in a nutshell, I'm going to humbly ask for your support.
