This is the (link)> best article I have read on the logic of prepping and the very sensible Congressman from Kentucky,Tom Massie agrees. It’s called “The Surprisingly Solid Mathematical Case of the Tin Foil Hat Gun Prepper”
or, “Who Needs an AR-15 Anyway?”The author is a scientist and used to running probability statistics, in his field it’s for flooding, but he looked as civil unrest and deduced there’s currently a 37% chance of revolution in the USA based on known stats like the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Despite the complex nature of the math, he writes it so even a dummy like me can understand and follow it – and now, if you’ll forgive me, I’m headed straight out to buy some ammo!

As he says, prepping is just disaster planning. You’d be mad not to prepare – just as the billionaires mentioned in this article are doing. And a firearm is very important part of that planning.
