Biden Buried In Multi-State Constitution Lawsuit – 21 States Accuse Joe Of Abusing His Power In Canceling Keystone  By Adam Casalino| March 18, 2021

Joe Biden made one of his most controversial decisions early in his presidency. On day one, he signed an order ending the Keystone XL Pipeline.

That move struck a huge blow against blue-collar workers, a group Biden claimed to support.

Canceling that permit created a huge mess, both in the United States and Canada. It resulted in the loss of many jobs and the rising cost of energy for Americans.

But, it turns out Biden was defying a congressional order when he did this. And some are arguing he had no authority to do so.

Now, twenty-one states are fighting back.

From Daily Caller:A group of 21 Republican state attorneys general filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday against President Joe Biden’s administration over its decision to nix the Keystone Pipeline…

Congress never granted the president the authority to revoke the pipeline’s permit, which is a regulation of interstate and international commerce, according to the lawsuit.

Twenty-one state attorneys general are suing the Biden administration over his canceling of the Keystone Pipeline.

Congress laid out the terms for approving the massive project in 2011. This lawsuit argues that the president does not have the power to revoke this project, as it is Congress who regulates commerce between our country and others.

The attorneys who are suing Biden slammed his reasoning for canceling the project saying, there’s “no even a perceived environmental benefit” to what he did.

The Keystone XL Pipeline has long been the target of controversy by radical environmental activists (who are funded by George Soros and others).

But numerous studies and agencies have cleared the project, which will be built to high environmental standards.

In fact, Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin says the current method of transporting crude oil (via train cars) is far more dangerous both to people and the environment.

So, why did Biden do this? It hurts our economy and does nothing to protect the environment.

Leaders of this suit claim that Biden is doing it as a way to virtue signal to his “wealthy coastal elite donors.” He doesn’t care about rural communities across the country who will lose jobs and money as a result.

It remains to be seen how this lawsuit will shake out in court. But if these attorneys general have their way, the pipeline might soon be back on.

  • Key Takeaways:
  • Twenty-one states sue Biden over his attacks on the Keystone XL Pipeline.
  • They arge the president does not have the authority to override Congress.AGs claim
  • Biden did this, not to protect the earth, but to virtue signal to donors.
