YESTERDAY IT WAS LOSS OF WI-FI, TODAY MY LAPTOP IS SELF DESTRUCTING AS I SPEAK. THIS IS THE SECOND HP COMPUTER THAT THE HINGES BROKE ON, I THINK IT'S ALSO MY LAST HP !

I hate HP also. But search for Tronscript. down load it and use it for free.
It is a script that runs a bunch of software cleaning, patches, virus stuff.
It is tricky to set up.
I ran it for the first time a few weeks ago. Took 12 hrs to complete everything. Including defrag.

I've got a hp with broken hinges too, opened it up & it pulled the wire from the screen so I found a wire to hook up to a small flat screen tv, fixed as well as it's going to be.

Thanks guys, the last one the hinges broke, I bought new hinges and put them in myself. Everything went well, I checked to see if it would come on every step of the way. I had gotten one completely in and when I checked the damn thing wouldn't work....TRASH !! BUT thanks for the suggestions
