Grandmother to would-be carjackers: "You are not taking my car" Dec 08, 2014
INDIANAPOLIS -
Metro Police are investigating brutal attack on a 67-year-old Indianapolis woman left with serious injuries to her eye and face.
The attack happened around 7:00 Sunday night during an attempted carjacking in the 200 Block of Randolph Street.
Kay Kise pulled up to her home and parked her van out front in the reserve handicapped parking space. The space is marked with two signs posted curbside.
While gathering her belongings, a teenager approached Kise outside her van.
“He come up to my car and he said, 'Do you know where Hendricks Place is?'” said Kise. “I told him it was just two blocks over and continued grabbing my shopping bags. The next thing you know, I turned back around and he had this gun right in my face.”
