dorian-johnson Michael Brown’s Friend Has Been Hired By The City Of St. Louis . We have to wonder if they checked his references. Dorian Johnson, sidekick of Michael Brown when he stole the cigarillos from the convenience store and lying witness to the events that led to Brown getting shot, has been hired to do work for the city of St. Louis. Jeff Rainford, chief of staff to Mayor Franicis Slay (actual name), confirmed that Johnson has been hired under a state grant through the city’s Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE). The job involves doing work for the city and pays about $8.50 per hour. Rainford noted that Johnson met the low income eligibility requirements and that’s why he was hired. Johnson does have a minor criminal background apart from the cigarillo incident. While he was enrolled at Lincoln University, he had a bench warrant issued against him for misdemeanor theft. He could not be reached for comment.
